If you're thinking of buying this boot know it is really cute and functional (so far) You also need to know that the tongue is fixed in place. I'm not sure if I would've purchased had this been more obviously stated. I have a high instep and have had difficulty finding a duck boot that fits well most often due to a narrow ankle area even with a tongue that is flexible. Happily even with the structure of this boot it was a good fit and relatively easy to put on and take off If you're looking for warmth you'll certainly need a pair of heavy socks but given the generous sizing that shouldn't be a problem. Speaking of the sizing with only whole sizes if and have a narrower foot with a half size you may want to consider ordering a size down rather than up

Fit was larger than expected, plenty of room for thick socks! I don’t like that they can’t be tightened—the tongue and shoe strings are stationary and only for looks.

They fit great! I have a hard time fitting my feet into boots without zippers, but these were wide enough for my feet to fit through easily.

Easy slip on/off for the rainy season. 2nd time ordering a pair of these. Very comfortable. After a while the insert do wear out, when they do I'll drop in some gel ones

These red boots are roomy enough to accommodate my size 7-7 1/2 picky feet (I got a size 7). The lining is yummy warm. Surprisingly comfortable! My daughter is coveting them.

Super cute rain boots and was very disappointed. My first time wearing these the back loop came undone.

The best ever. So comfortable. Keep feet dry and cozy. Wear on hiking trails and around town and have never failed me. Amazing grip even in wet, muddy, slippery conditions. My fav.

Love These! I ordered 3 different boots because I’m fussy about footwear. These are the most comfortable and the least expensive. The fixed tongue is perfect for western Washington puddle jumping. These are so comfortable I wear them walking daily ( couple of miles). Highly recommend!

This boot was very comfy, I did have to wear a thick sock because it was a little wide around the ankle. This was a very good buy.

Hooray for Chooka for making an awesome pair of rain boots! Comfortable, well-made, cute, perfect! I will be sloshing around in these in my neighborhood in Brooklyn and back home in a Western MA. Will fit in nicely in both places.

Super cute, super soft, super flexible, & super comfortable! I really loved these boots, and was going to keep them — but I found a pair of Hunters for cheaper than these. However, this company will remain on my list in the future.

I love these rain boots. They’re very comfortable. I ordered a half size up due to my previous experiences with the way rain boots fit but I could have ordered my size and been just fine. A good pair of socks fixed the issue.

Bought my usual size - same size that I wear in Classic Uggs (if that helps.) Wouldn't want to go on a long hike in these, but they are great for shorter walks in the rain. I have wide feet and like a wider toe box and these fit great. Just gave them 4 stars for comfort because they are typical rain boots - not a ton of support or padding.

I really like these rain duck boots and my orthotics fit without them being too tight in the toe area. I'm returning them because of toe arthritis that hurts when I walk in them. Too much flexibility in the sole.

Well made, waterproof & comfortable. Easy on & off. Perfect for the New England mud season...just hose them off to clean them. I usually wear a 7.5 wide, but the 8 medium was perfect...there was still plenty of room for a nice pair of socks.

I LOVE these boots! They’re so comfortable and warm! I had to order them half size up and they’re a little big not that much so with good socks they fit perfectly (I’m a 9.5 so I ordered them 10).

Super cute and comfy! I normally wear an 11 but sometimes 10 in boots, went with the 10 for these, fit perfect.

Like the looks of these boots but they are way too loose.

Purchased for my other half, she says they fit great and are very comfortable but thinks they lack a bit of style when on the foot.
