I had a bad experience with two pairs of La Canadienne wedge boots within a year, very similar to these. On one pair the sole separated from the rest of the booth at the toe (after 5 weeks of wear), and on the other pair the heel separated from the rest of the boot on the second season, hardly wore them the previous season, maybe once or twice.

I loved them, they looked great but so I was really sad to have to return them because they run too narrow. Usually if I just go up from 6 to 6.5 the width is fine, but it was still too narrow in the half size larger. If you have a narrow foot, these are a must so I'm still giving them 5 stars!

Had to order 1/2 size larger but do like them although have not worn much yet. Would be better if they had wide option. I also ordered the Elizabeth and it came in wide, fit great but could only afford 1 right now so chose these.

The boot separated from the sole on both boots. Very disappointing for such an expensive shoe.

I’ve been wearing La Canadienne boots for more than a decade. They last long too. I especially love this wedge design and I have a few different designs of wedge shoes from La Canadienne. The price has doubled since 2009 though!

These fit perfectly (I ordered my usual size). I ordered the black--wish I could also afford to buy the other color, too (a slate grey, I think). They are waterproof, comfortable, and they look nice, which is why I'm willing to spend so much on them. I bought them to replace another pair of La Canadienne ankle boots which I bought 6 years ago and which are now starting to look a little tatty. I love this brand!

Buying third times. A little expensive for me, but very comfortable

This boot is such a great winter city boot. Stylish, warm and easy to walk in. I love it. My feet have stayed warm and dry in the elements, and the boots continue to look good. Highly recommend.

These boots are so cute on. Very polished and waterproof. For me I wish the base of the heel was just a tad wider. For a boot that needs to handle weather with style, I still need a stable base. I tend to have my heel slip from under me in wedges if that base isn't really stable. Love my wedges, but I do turn and walk quickly. I love this brand, I'll just try a different style.
