I wore these for a full year as my work shoes in a retail environment and can say they're pretty comfortable. They are flexible from the start and very lightweight. Not a ton of support, but my feet didn't hurt most days (compared to my Vans classics which hurt with no arch support whatsoever). And the wear and tear was almost nonexistant when I normally wear the outer heel through fairly quickly. I've also had quality issues with some other Vans styles (peeling outsole) and these were great from day 1 until I finally threw them in the donation bin, since I got a non-retail job and stopped wearing black on principle.

Super light, comfy, good arch support, but size up a half size! TL;DR I typically wear 10.5 in Vans so that’s what I ordered. When I tried them on, they were very snug around the front and mid foot, but not painful so I figured I would just break them in. My mistake. The broke alright, but not in. Instead both shoes developed a tear in the fabric where the sole meets the upper, right at the inside arch. This happened after a month and a half of every-other-day wear. Thankfully, Zappos replaced them at no cost! I went up a half size, now I’m thoroughly satisfied with the fit! My initial impression of these shoes were: Wow these are light! They breathe so well! Super comfortable! Much better arch support than any Vans I’ve ever worn! My only concern was that the sole is made of two different materials - the front and back treads are the same gum rubber as Van’s Era, but the rest of the sole is a Nerf-football-like foam rubber that is very soft and seemed like it would get gouged and fall apart quickly. So far, the sole has held up surprisingly well!

I went up a 1/2 size. Both of my kids have had these for months. My oldest wears his every day and they have held up very well. They look brand new after six months of wear. My youngest bought a brand new pair to go on a weeklong walking vacation and had absolutely no problems wearing them right out of the box. BUY THEM!!!

Fit and comfort awesome. Shoes lasted 6 months. Not awesome. Would love another pair but just not worth it.

I purchased these shoes only a month and a half ago and they are already separating from the sole. I loved these shoes, they are super comfortable and cute. I ordered a half size up based on other reviews and they fit great. I haven't worn the shoes in excess, just a normal amount with minimal walking. Today i noticed that the shoe is separating away from the sole. This is really disappointing, i wish i could return them. I will not purchase again if this is the quality you get for the price.

Cute shoes - much more comfortable than the Old Skool style (although I like the Old Skool style better for a classic look...) I found them to fit a 1/2 size too small. I ordered my normal 6.5 and they were just too short in the toe area. The 7 is a little roomier (without socks) but more comfortable. Great color!

Daughter LOVES these! Really cute colour - very comfortable. She said there is slight rubbing at the top near the opening - but wearing socks prevents this. Really glad Vans do trainers, as she loves the brand.

Nice lightweight shoe, but no arch support and insole is not removable.

Runs small. I normally wear 7-1/2 but ordered an 8 based on the reviews; that was snug so traded for an 8-1/2. Haven’t had a chance to wear it for a long time but seems light and comfy just walking around at home.

I got these to walk around in Norway! They are super cute for day to night! I actually ran out of time as i needed to get a whole size larger!

Great, more cushioned Vans for my very active 11 year old son. He loves Vans, but the traditional flat-soled models don't offer the cushioning he was looking for. These are a great option and so far have served him well in all of his various pursuits, from front yard baseball to skating/biking at the local bike park.

I bought these to use as walking shoes (gotta get those 10,000 steps in!), and they do not disappoint. They're comfortable when walking for extended periods, and they look good, too. Definitely order a half-size larger than you normally wear (possibly even a full size). I wear a 9 in vans slip-ons and hi-tops, but 9 in this style is a bit too tight.

Perfect fit, very comfortable and the colors are great. If you want to be cool like me, buy them.

I loved the look of these shoes, but after walking for an hour or so, my feet just hurt! They are very narrow in the toe box and left my feet aching. I wish this weren't the case because they looked great on!

The shoes are incredibly light and comfortable. They are true to size, though they may feel at first as though they are not. I think this is due to the feel of the mesh upper meeting the rubber that runs along the top of the toe of the shoe. I got them in the Quetzal green and the color is even more brilliant than the photo depicts, and they look great.

These are Vans newest style (I think) and close to a Nike shoe. They're comfortable, fit perfectly and the red are super fun!

I wear a 12-1/2 these days, and sizing up to a 13 is hit or miss — at best. These fit great (though if I wore a 13, they *might* be tight) and they are incredibly light. I bought the teal-colored pair too.

I wear the tough-to-find size 12-1/2 shoe and am always skeptical of ordering a size 13. This pair fits great, so I ordered a pair in a different color too. They are very light and the mesh construction is appreciated here in Arizona.
