The UltraGuide Ridgeweld are my favorite VANS. I have been wearing these for many years and have a black and navy pair. I finally needed to replace the black pair and received these. They feel a little different (maybe tighter) but still as comfortable. These shoes are , My go-to for work shoes. This shoe is GREAT but VANS no longer makes this model. So sad!

I liked this shoe-- it's light weight and sleek. However, I had to return the pair it because I could barely get them on-- they were so much smaller than they should have been. I wear a 7.5 in Vans. These were labeled 7.5 but it felt more like a 6 or 6.5 to my feet.

Overall I wouldn't buy another pair but they are comfortable. The tongue area of the shoe feels tight all the time.

The shoes are fine in length but they're tight around my foot. They're very comfortable and light. I don't know about how long they last, I just bought them.

I love these shoes. They are really light weight and have a cool look. They do tend to wear in about 4-6 months which make them less desirable, but I like them. The wear is in the heals on the tread shoe adhesive. They could improve the shoe by making the soles more durable. The suede types doe tend to last longer, which be due to the material adhesive requirements. I would buy again, but Vans please consider upping your durability game on the soles.

A bit snug but not unusual for Vans to stretch out slightly with wear. Different styles of Vans do seem to fit differently.

To be fair, I have VANS in a women's 9.5 and 10. I ordered a 10 in these because I have a very similar style (if not the same style) already in a 10. Unfortunately they seemed WAY too big so I'll be returning them but probably buying the 9.5. They are cute!

Worn for office work. Sad < 1 year later and the toebox is fraying badly. Lightweight. Minimal cushioning. No fading, still super black.

I don't have a car so do a lot of walking, these are very comfortable and look great but the only downside is having to replace them every 3-4 months because the support crushes out. If they could last at least 6 mos that would make it 5 stars. But I realize too that 90$ today, is like $30 in 1980s-90s money.

I love these shoes. This is not third pair, because I wore a hole in the other pair. They do run small. My first pair of was an 8 with the white sole. When I purchased the all black, they were a little snug. I purchased an 8.5 and they fit perfect. This goes for all of the mesh UltraRange. I don't have this issue with the leather UltraRange.

Overall I love the feel and look. The only knock I have is the shoelace choice. Can get a bit tough to pull through, other than that really comfy shoe.

These shoes felt much too narrow, the Van Exo's are much more true to size with the same style.

Bought these for my son. His foot is wide but not usually wide enough to order a wide. He would have needed a wide width in these shoes if they offered this option. Since this was not an option we had to return them. It was a good looking shoe that he really liked other than the fit problem.

I use these shoes as my daily workwear (a couple miles 5 times a week). I've gone through 3 pairs in 2 years and this will be my last. They are comfortable but at the same time, too narrow in the toe box for me so I order a size up but still they aren't right for me. I wish they fit me better otherwise I'd never switch away even with the mediocre durability.

Very comfortable shoes to wear all day. I've had two pairs and they each lasted a year.

Once Vans started producing these ultra range, ultra light shoes, I'll never go back to a regular shoe again. These shoes are incredibly light and comfortable. HOWEVER, they do run a bit smaller than normal. Consider buying 1/2 size bigger for more comfort.

These shoes are almost perfect. If the toe box had a little more room these would be my favorite pair of vans I own.

This shoe is super cute! I absolutely love how it looks and how it fits, but not how it feels under my toes. I posted the sizing of this shoe in the photos, keep in mind it's marketed at women's sizes (for me at least.) I usually wear a 39EU for summer shoes, 40 for winter shoes (thick socks, more room.) Which usually is a W9, but I ordered a W9.5 in this, and it fits like a large 39EU (so the shoe runs 1/2+ size small.) The toe area is more narrow than a traditional men's Vans, about average+ for a women's sneaker toe box. The distance across the ball of the foot is a loose women's width. I expect it will be narrow for mens sizing. But fits me great! Let me start with the bad: I *don't* like the flat ring (about 2cm) inside the shoe all the way around the non-removable insole. It follows the pattern of the sole traction, see photo, but not caused by the traction pattern I think. Basically the insole is soft except where all along the outer edge it is _glued_ down to the foundation of the shoe, (where insole meets the sides of the shoes and rubber foam sole) I can feel a recessed ring along the bottom pads of my toes and outer edge of the sole of my foot. My toes are riding a ridge where the soft rises to make the the super comfy insole. I have high arches so don't feel the weird flat ring on the inner side of my sole but I do under my big toe. It's quite a distracting weird feeling, half my big toe is on soft insole, half is on hard flat. Yeah, not sure I can tolerate the feel under my toes. Will it all flatten out to not as soft over time? Wondering how the shoes will wear over time--is the super comfy insole only memory foam?? I usually stay away from shoes that rely solely on memory foam since it wears out really fast for me (walking on my feet on concrete all day.) But I'm ok with rubber foam soles. The GOOD! These are so cute. I love the off-white sole, ring around the ankle, and laces. I love the low profile without bulk. I love the reinforced gray toe and light pink ribbon tug loops. This shoe is SUPER light and flexible. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the high traction sole--I transition from concrete to turf field at the end of the day this year. The octagon lug pattern makes for really springy comfortable base for concrete--long term! (from my experiences with this pattern in other shoe inserts = PLAE sneakers <3. I often buy spring/summer sneakers from PLAE, but liked Vans traction this year.) I'm not sure I'm going to keep them. I need to walk around on hard flat surface to decide (in the kitchen maybe?) But I really want to!
