So cute on! Truth be told had previously returned b/c I couldn't resolve the static cling at hem as others had reported. But I couldn't stop thinking how cute it was so I reordered when went on sale. When I 1st tried on the static cling in the booty area was relentless and I was discourage. I laid it on my bed for a day and when I retried, the cling "be gone"! The merino wool is luxe and the fit is fab. I love SmartWool for hiking socks and will keep checking back on their clothes in future.

No kidding, I wore my warm & fabulous Merino 250 Pattern Dress & tights to a dinner party and when complimented, told my friends what I had found from the Wall Street Journal article on your Company about how to combat the cold airline air. The next day, a friend who was there came overs to try on my dress and order it for herself!

Great looking, warm dress, very versatile.

My skin is extremely sensitive so I was naturally skeptical regarding this dress, but the bordeaux color was too pretty not to take a chance. I just received it today and was pleasantly surprised! I don't know how Smartwool does it, but this dress isn't itchy/scratchy at all. It honestly feels like modal up against the skin. So happy with my purchase, that I went ahead and bought another one in the gray color. I love it! It's not only pretty, but it's functional in its warmth. This dress hit just above my knees, and is a not too clingy fit. For reference, I'm 4'11 and 95#.

Warm, cozy, stylish

I wear this dress to work with leggings and boots. Ordered some funky knit leg warmers to add some pizzazz and it's perfect. Not itchy. Very well made. I'd order more if they made it in green or teal!

I wear the dress all the time for casual things--sleeping, lounging, weekend errands. Flattering, warm, comfy, flattering color with my silver hair.

I have all four of the colors offered. One wasn't enough! They are pricey compared to what I usually will buy, but I bought one and wow! Warm, comfortable, breathable, and no special washing instructions. Just cold and tumble dry low. Make more colors please! I am 34D, 28, 37 and 5'7" a medium fits great. The sleeves are small enough around the wrist so that they don't come down over your hand, but if you need them to, they are long enough.... at least on me. The fit is sleek, not too tight, but it will show our imperfections, however; we all have them.

An incredibly soft, comfortable, cozy basic that is definitely more of a tunic than a dress (if you're average-to-tall), or unless you never bend over. Love LOVE w/leggings and boots, can dress up or down, has become my weekend lounger and 'go to' this fall. Does run a bit larger than Smartwool Merino 250 baselayers with a more relaxed fit (I'm a S baselayer top, and the XS dress is a perfect fit - long enough in the sleeves), but is true to size when compared to other casual brands. Wish there were more colors!

I really dig this dress. The Merino 250 fabric is just awesome - comfy, warm and looks great. So turn it into a dress?! Forget about it! I wear it to work over skinny jeans, when I get off the ski hill over some baselayer bottoms or chillin around the house on a Sunday morning with a cup o' joe. Patterns are fun, but classy.

The drape is excellent on this dress as the fabric has a nice weight. The dress is very comfortable. Delighted to have found it.

I struggled finding the right tights to wear under this dress to keep the fabric from clinging. Cute pattern and flattering cut otherwise.

I am 5' 6" and weigh 130 lbs. The dresses I own are all small, so I ordered a Small in this dress. Whoa - I looked like a stuffed sausage. Seriously unflattering. This dress is super clingy and I'm guessing the model in the picture has a straight figure. I am returning and will try for the Medium instead. It's really lovely so I hope a size up will fit.

I really wanted to love this dress. I love smartwool socks, but this dress is thin and did not fit well. I am petite and thought the reviews that said it fit more like a tunic would be perfect for my 5'2" body, but it just didn't work. Also for a winter dress it held a lot of static.
