I purchased this shoe in the Camel Calf Nubuck, and it is a very pretty nude suede. The wood heel is a nice touch on a overall classic style shoe. I typically wear a 5.5, so I originally ordered the 36, but they were huge. I reordered a 35, which was a much better fit.

I wear a size 5 and ordered the equivalent size 36. They were way too big. Very pretty shoe, but I will have to send back.

Love the snug fit around my narrow ankles, no gaping along outside of foot but still sufficient space in the toe box. Lovely leather, slightly matte, which I like. Heavier than some ballerinas but perfect for NW rainy fall weather. Good with skirts for work or jeans at weekend. True to size 39 for ECCO.

Beautiful shoe but I found it ran really small.

I got them in yellow color which is pretty and not too bright. They are comfortable despite pointed toe. I would say they run slightly large. usually wear size 6 in flats. These 36 (US 5-5.5) suit me well.

Soft and comfortable flats that are made with high quality genuine suede. I usually wear 8.5 so I ordered size 39, but they were too tight. I had to return them and order one size up

I agree with other reviewers that one should consider ordering a half-size down. I usually wear an 8 med or 8.5 narrow and ordered an 8. Probably a 7.5 would have been a bit better. I haven't worn them yet because the weather's been bad, but I expect they'll feel fine and wear fine. Like the angular look of the heel.

I bought these shoes in black calf and am very pleased with them. They are well made with nice soft leather and leather lined. I have quite bumpy toes and wide feet but despite that, the shoes look pretty dainty on my feet. It would be good if they were made in black and navy nubuc.

Very nice red flat. I didn't think I'd like the wood heel, but it's just fine.

Were definitely closer to 10 than 10.5.

Perfect! Classic, yet chic shoes. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. I liked these so much I bought them in 2 different colors.

This shoe is gorgeous. I like everything about this shoe except that it really does squeak as a previous reviewer noted. I would have love to have kept this shoe.

These are beautiful shoes - well made as you would expect from Ecco. I bought the yellow and loved the color, not too bright and not too muddy. Looks as good with jeans as with skirts and dresses. The snug fit around the heel worked for me, I have narrow feet. Unfortunately the size 40 was too snug in the toe box (I wear a 9.5) and I had to send them back. Wish I could have kept them, they are just what I was looking for.

Unfortunately they were very tight, and I tried two different sizes. Also, not as attractive as the picture. Just a bit dowdy.

The flats are attractive & very comfortable. However, they squeak a lot & are driving me nuts. Especially since I purchased them to replace a less expensive pair that were squeaky. Perhaps not all pairs would squeak but if this is a concern to you, I'd walk around inside quite a bit to see if you have the problem before you wear them outside & they're no longer returnable.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I wear a 9.5 and ordered the 40 -- really small, more like an 8 or 8.5. I exchanged for the 41. Much better fit, but not really very comfortable. Cute, so I might have kept to break in. Unfortunately the toes were kind of dirty and it wouldn't brush off. Back they go. But thank you, Zappos, for making it easy!

A beautiful shoe, but unfortunately is not wide enough in the "toe box" for me. I will sadly return these super cute flats.

Style is nice, but not comfortable, and very stiff. The shoes left blisters from a first try at home, both on the toes and the back of the heels. Would not recommend.

You would think the toe bed would be uncomfortable however, the shoe is wide and the heel was very stiff and I started getting a blister just trying them out in the house

The show was too narrow and the color was not what I expected. It was a brown suede not taupe.

These are very good quality basic shoes. The Zappos video depicts them very accurately. Unfortunately they didn't fit. My size in dress shoes is 7. I ordered 38, which is marked 7-7.5 and it was too big. Ecco doesn't offer half sizes, so I didn't reorder these shoes in a smaller size. If I got size 37 it would be too small.

I was really looking forward to getting these shoes, but was very disappointed. The beautiful blue color matches my new dress perfectly, and the shoe is stylish, sturdy, and well made, although a bit stiff. I thought I would give it a try because I have been told that European brands like Ecco tend to run narrower than American brands. I prefer to wear a 9 narrow in dress shoes, and often need a 9.5 narrow in running shoes, but since so few narrow styles are offered I usually end up trying to make do with a medium width shoe. In some brands I can manage an 8.5 medium without cramping my toes too horribly. The 40 (US 9-9.5) in the Shape Pointy Ballerina was so huge on me that I couldn't walk without stepping completely out of the shoe. I felt like a little girl wearing mommy's shoes. The 40 was both too long and too wide for me to walk comfortably. I tried going down one size to the 39 (US 8-8.5) but it was way too short, my toes were too badly squashed to walk comfortably, and it was still to wide. This shoe is a bit stiff, so when I tried to take a step, it would buckle out at the front of my foot in a very unattractive way. If your foot is in between sizes or very narrow, this probably is not the shoe for you. I wish manufacturers would make more narrow width shoes and use more flexible materials.

These are the worst shoes I've bought in over 10 years! Wore them yesterday for the first time for about 1.5 hours. Walked to my car - into hair appt. and then back to car. The shoe dug into the back of my heals and had already broken skin that quickly. I then hobled myself into the closest shoe store where I bought the most comfortable pair of shoes and paid about the same price. Very disappointed in this shoe!
