I like this coat quite a bit. It feels too warm right now (early fall), but I know that will be perfect for winter. The sleeves fit true to size, but the waist is a little large. I'm normally a small/medium and I purchased a medium in this coat so the sleeves wouldn't be too short. The chest fits well, but the waist doesn't cinch in as much as I would like, and it feels a little bulky. Then again, it is a giant puffy winter coat, so bulky may be what they're going for. Overall, love the coat, love the color (I got the green), and would totally purchase again.

This is my first winter in New England, now that I have this coat I am ready for snowmaggedon!

a little bulkier than expected, but form fitting and warm

I bought this parka several years ago and returned it because I didn't like the color at the time (brown). I researched parkas quite a bit before I purchased this one. I love the navy color. I filled out the sizing chart before purchasing and though it recommended a Medium, I purchased the Small. I'm 5'4", 132 lbs. and am a 32D chest. I just got back from The North Face store at my local mall to try on the Medium and though it was roomier, I stayed with the Small. So, if you want more room, go with the Medium. It's not that great of a size difference but personally, I wanted to have a trimmer fit. I can still fit a sweater underneath. I live in Rhode Island and anticipate that this parka will keep me cozy. It's long enough to fend off the chilly weather to my knees and the lining is great; the down quilting is on the inside therefore keeping the warmth close to your body.

Love the coat! Im 5'4, 110 lbs and size XS/TP fits me like a glove! 4 stars instead of 5 because the design of the hood fur is poor, it makes me look like i have coconut shaped hair when having the hood on!

The coat is super nice and warm. The design of the fur needs work! When i put that hood on my head, i look like a joke with the fur hanging high up near my ears as if that's my coconut shaped hair! I have this old Via Spiga down coat with the real fur hood and i love the way the hood looks on me. This northFace coat needs to redesign that hood!

I am a tall women and have a difficult time ordering online. This jacket by review seemed to be exactly what I wanted. Sleeves ended up being to short. Had to return

Ordered for my wife as her bday gift. I really liked the jacket but she wanted something lighter.. Overall it's a great jacket

I use this product to keep warm in freezing weather conditions. The good about this coat is that its very warm and also stylish at the same time. The bad is that i bought it a size too big

The hoodie is bigger than I expected. It does not fit my head well. However, overall it's a great purchase!

This coat will keep me warm in sub zero temperatures this winter, for sure! It's a heavy and larger coat, so I wouldn't wear it out just for quick trips out.

This jacket is nice and very warm. The only drawback is that the XS is still a bit big for me , and the zipper stuck a few times, so I'm not sure if I'll keep it. But it seems very good quality.

This is the third jacket I have purchased and the warmth is always great! I am never cold wearing this. The one thing I would say is that every coat I have bought, the zip has broken very easily which is not ideal.

I love this coat so far! It hasn't been cold enough yet to wear it, but I have confidence it will be plenty warm. My only critiques are the sleeves are slightly short and the zipper is plastic. The zipper feels sturdy, but I am concerned for its durability in the long run, but we will have to see! I decided to buy directly from North Face, for warranty purposes, and other's comments about the zipper,

I haven't used it yet since it is for this winter season!

Great for snowy Chicago winters.

I haven't totally had the chance to wear the coat yet since its more for cold weather. But, it's comfortable, really warm, and very stylish. It is a little long on me (since I'm pretty short at 5'4) so if it could be offered at a shorter level for us short people it would probably help some. But, for the most part it's a great jacket and I'd recommend it to everyone.

I highly recommend this purchase. Its very warm, comfortable, and looks adorable. Its a good length and is true to size. It is taken in waist area which I like because it makes it look more stylish and like you have a figure. It doesn't look like you are drowning in a pillow case. My only complaint would be the fur on hood isn't the best quality. I don't like the way it is lined on the hood so I removed the hood from jacket for now.

I have to return the product because it was too big! I made a mistake of ordering a big size because according to other reviews, they feel small to size. So I have returned it, and I am waiting for my Egift card so I can order the right size.

I love the color of this coat! I got it at the end of the summer so I can't say how it will do in cold weather, but it feels like a good, warm coat - heavy, but in a good way, and it seems like it will be better in wetter weather than my previous coat, which wasn't really water-repellant. The overall shape of it is pretty good, but it did make me look hippier than I am (I've got pretty narrow hips but the coat takes a more hourglass shape on its own). Not a big deal, though - still flattering. The only negative thing about the coat is the dual zipper; you have to make sure the two zippers are lined up JUST right or the top one won't zip up, and it's very easy for one of them to shift. It took a little maneuvering the first time, but after that it was easier.

Warm and comfy and soft. True to size a can't wait to wear it this winter!

I live in NYC and last winter was brutal -- so to prepare for this upcoming season, I did a lot of research. Canadian Goose was the number one option for the warmest coat on the market, but the over $800 price tag was crazy! The Arctic was rated #2 at a third of the price. I usually wear Medium. At first, I thought the Medium was small, but the Large was way too big. The sales rep then told me about the snap on the bottom of the back of the jacket. We undid it and it fit like a glove! So just keep that in mind when trying on, ladies!!!

I knew I wanted this coat last year and I waited until fall to order it. The sizing is a bit off. I have a fairly straight shape...but a bigger bust. Even after putting my bra size in the sizing tool---it's a bit snug in the bust. Lots of room in the hip area. I think if you have a true pear shaped body this coat would be great.
