So far, I like the coat it looks very nice. My one complaint is the hood, it's not deep enough to cover my entire head unlike my previous coat. It's also longer than anticipated. However I love the sleeves and the fit. I haven't worn it outside yet so I don't know if it's warm and waterproof and wind resistant.

I wear this product when it's cold outside and it's warm enough that I don't have to layer sweaters underneath.

I just received this coat and I love it! the color (new taupe green) is gorgeous and i especially love the fit of the jacket. It's fitted and the bottom of it is not too wide, perfect length (I am 5'10" and size Small is perfect) so it is very flattering. I haven't worn it out yet but it looks like it will be very warm. Pockets are very comfortable too and the hood is nice and close to the head when on so it actually will do its job of keeping your head warm. The only things I noticed are - I would prefer the sleeves to be maybe an inch longer but I have noticed this with all North Face jackets... it might just be my arms being a tad too long. Also the cuffs on the sleeves are very snug, which is nice when it's cold out but if you usually wear bracelets and a big watch, then that might get in the way. Overall though, I love this coat and can't wait to wear it.

My Mom bought this for our trip to Norway to see the Northern Lights. This coat is amazing in every sense of the words. Beyond functional and fashionable. I am comfortable (I sized up to compensate for heavy sweater and layers) and I DON'T feel like the Pillsbury Dough girl.

I think this coat is high quality. Wanted something warm and waterproof. Ran some water on the sleeve from the sink, it didn’t get wet one bit. It looks nice on and not too bulky. Definitely would recommend the coat.

I got tired of buying "winter" coats only to find that I needed to wear a long sleeve over another shirt with one or two sweaters and still not always be warm enough and then I just feel like I can't move and I'm suffocating and not warm enough. I can actually just dress normal under this coat and be the perfect temperature.

North face is the best on the market. Simple as that

You will not be disappointed with this parka. It is incredibly warm while still looking stylish. I'm 5'4" 155lbs, smaller up top and fuller on the bottom. and went back and forth between M and L and ended up going with M since the L was more roomy, but I lost that tailored look. If I was more proportionate I would have gone with L.

I’m 5’8” and around 120 lbs and ordered a medium. The arms are long enough and I have enough room to wear a layers and still move comfortably. We are in the middle of a blizzard in Iowa and I’ve been shoveling the snow. This coat is so warm, I love it. It’s adorable too. ?

Front first wear, you can tell this is a quality constructed coat. Zipper and snap closure and the spandex/elastic cuff that adds a little more enclosure around the arms is awesome. And this style is really nice with a bit of a gathered waist you don't feel like you're wearing a big puff ball jacket.

I always wanted a nice warm parka jacket for myself, because I live in mid-west, January frigid cold weather is routine for us.

I'm chest heavy- so I did end up sizing up to provide enough room up to for layers while still feeling like I can breathe. Very warm- I'm from Florida and wore this in January - in Minnesota. I'm 5'7 and the length hits at knees, and sleeves are perfect for my frame. The construction and finishing details are all well crafted.

Amazing craftsmanship

Great parka, doesn't make me look like a marshmallow. Sleeves long enough. I only wish it packed down smaller so it would be easier to travel with.

This parka is very warm. I'm pretty happy with it for the price I paid. The weather here is ugly with all the wind and rain but this parka kept me toasty.

I am so glad I bought this coat! It fits true to size (ordered a size small, 140 lbs.. and I still have the right amount of room for sweaters, etc underneath. ) Got the New Taupe color as I was tired of black and have 3 black coats already. It's a nice dark grayish green. I've also never owned a down/ feather coat before and am really impressed at how warm it is! I take transit everyday and this winter especially have had to stand outside in the -10c weather and am perfectly warm. Yesterday it was extremely cold outside so I layered a thin insulated layer under the coat as a precaution. I was too hot! Just this coat would've been enough. Highly recommend this coat and the North face.

Nothing makes me more happier than buying a something I absolutely like and it fits plus looks great. I'm 5'9" and have a very difficult time finding clothes that fit because of my long arms and legs. This coat was perfect just like all their others that I have previously purchased.

Very warm in Alaskan winters. Best jacket I've had that actually keeps me warm. AND its super cute! Ive always wanted a long jacket that was black, but also one that actually is warm when it reaches below 0. I have found my winner! I would definitely buy this jacket again in a different color.

This coat is fantastic!!! I'm a girl from California experiencing my first below 0 weather with wind wind gusts up to 35mph making it feel like -20 below. This coat keeps me warm like no other! Not an inkling of a chill. They say it can get up to -60 below here from the wind. I am glad I chose this coat.

This is the coat I've been looking over 2 years for!. It's incredibly warm and ends a bit above my knees. I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall and 120 pounds. A size small fits me well. The double zipper allows increased mobility for hiking if desired. I am someone who gets very cold very quickly, and I have never felt cold while wearing this coat!

My coat showed up the day before what happened to be a snowstorm. I had to commute from the city to the suburbs on the train in snowy, wet weather. I can already tell this coat is going to be great for the Chicago winter ahead of me :)
