This has been my go-to outdoor gear. I wear it for anything. It can be used for casual wear or rush to get the kids to school wear. The best feature about it is its asymmetrical zipper. It adds character to the vest. It is a big long, past the butt. I am 5'5 and 120 pounds. But it can be layered! Best purchase yet!!

I love that it's a Down Vest that keeps you warm in cold mornings and on a nice hike during the winter months, you can use to layer and wear under your rain jacket. Well worth the price too. I love how it fits and the length is perfect also.

I was looking for a longer vest that was still comfortable and easy to hike in and stylish. this fit the bill. fits great, is warm and goes with everything. love it! the zipper coming across does not bother me at all and actually it is easy to zip all the way up and nicely covers your neck to keep it warm too

Finally a vest that cover just below the buttock, light and warm and stylish. I ordered the xs 5'4inches, approx. 105-110lbs. Wish you would still sell the Nitchie vest with fur hood, but was told out of production. Please keep making vests that are in the 28 inch centre back length. Too many vest are within the 24 inch centre back length, (short and standard length). Wish it had the option of removable hood, and love the zipper pockets.

I do love this vest! The size itself runs a little big, I originally had bought a small and had to return for an extra small and it still fits a little loose on me. It is a great winter vest that has excellent coverage and a very stylish asymmetrical zipper up the front. I definitely recommend this vest to anyone looking for a lightweight winter piece that is great for hiking running and casual wear.
