Fits great and very warm

This is the best coat I've ever owned. It arrived yesterday wore it to an amusement park last night. So warm, i didn't feel confined, and it wasn't bulky like most bubble coats. It even has a shape.. tapers in at the waist.. crazy to at but i felt amazing in it. And the little pocket on the inside was fit my galaxy s9 with a thick case, nicely. I liked my phone there instead of the side pockets so it wouldn't accidentally fall out .

My heaviest duty jacket is Columbia brand and has the Omni-Heat lining, and I wanted something a little lighter than that but still good for cold days. I'd say this jacket is perfect for 30 degrees and up - super comfy and decently warm. The hood is plenty roomy and the length feels pretty good at my height of 5'9, although if I were any taller, I think the front of the jacket would feel too short. (FYI, I do think the sizing chart is a little off. I took my measurements and ordered an XL based on the size chart, but ended up having to exchange for a Large.)

She has had Columbia coats all her life and wants nothing else!

This is the 2nd heavenly coat we've ordered. The other was the long version. (You can't go wrong with either!) This one we ordered for my daughter. When it came, she tried it on wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a shirt under that. In the end, we decided we wanted to exchange it for a size up, as it was just snug enough that it wasn't the most comfortable. Plus, we wanted it to last a few years. As for the coat itself, very well made, comfortable, and very warm. The hood is awesome. I highly recommend this coat, and either the short or long version are in fact heavenly!

I purchased this jacket in purple. I ordered a size 3x. I wear an 18/20 in tops and 24 in jeans. The jacket fits nice. The purple is exactly as shown. It is not heavy, but very warm. I also love the deep pockets on each side, to keep my hands warm. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase. Thank you Columbia!

I LOVE my coat! I hadn't ever had one with Omni-heat in it before, and I'm very glad that I chose to purchase this one. It's super lightweight but Very warm!

This coat feels warm but isn't bulky. Fits my tall, slender daughter very well. The added cuff makes sure it doesn't ride up on her long arms.

Nocturnal is a great color to wear with jeans and any casual outfit. Jacket is warm but functional without all the bulk. Love the thumbholes in the comfort sleeves that keep all the wind out and fit nicely into gloves.

I have this in tan and had to get black cuz I love this jacket! It's warmer than the light weight packable puffer jackets yet lighter. Great in MN door to door winter time! I want all the colors! Love love!

This jacket blocks the wind very well ,I was out on a very windy day and I was not cold.

I would most definitely recommend this coat because it is the warmest without all of the bulk. It has a relaxed fit and the quality of the material is perfect. The thumb holes are also a great touch so that your wrists stay warm when you put on gloves.

I paid a lot of money for this coat and it is not warm at all. I now have to look for a warmer coat because there are spots in it where I feel cold air.

I love this jacket! It's so warm and cozy. I've been wearing it in the 30s - mid 20s and it's kept me super warm! I do feel like it runs a little big - kinda wish I'd gotten a medium instead of a large. I also wish the hood was removable but I love the furry inside as it helps keep the hood from blowing off in the wind. The silver lining is unique and has caught a lot of attention! I actually would prefer it not be so shiny but it does keep you warm! And thank you for the zippered pockets!!! Would definitely recommend.

This jacket is nice and warm due to the heat trapping lining. I live in a place that only reaches the 40's during the winter and it's the perfect jacket. I did take this with us camping where the weather dipped into the 30's and the jacket was perfect. It's not too puffy that you feel like a marshmallow, but it is warm just like a larger jacket. I was still able to squeeze a light sweatshirt under the jacket for extra warmth, even though a small is my standard size.

I ordered the blue color, size large ( I am 5'7" 140lbs) jacket fits great, the color is really nice a bit lighter than navy blue, I really love then sleeves the thumb hole comfort cuff keeps out the cold. The only negative is that the jacket is a bit thinner than I expected, I'm worried it won't keep me warmer enough when the weather get colder.

I recently purchased this jacket in black and so far so good! It has kept me warm in a recent significant decrease in temps. The reflective lining is very helpful and warm. It's slightly lighter than I expected so I'm curious to see how it will hold up in the dead of winter but for the cold fall days it's been perfect thus far! Would recommend!

I love this jacket! It is so warm and comfortable. Light weight and with Omniheat, it keeps me warm in moderate to cold temperatures.

This is by far the most flattering and fashionable jacket I own now. It gives a nice shape, it fulfills its purpose of keeping the user warm and comfortable, and I love the glove/sleeve part, I think it's really comfortable and really stylish. Highly recommended!

I love this jacket. The wrist cuffs with thumb holes have become a favorite! Pefect size to layer under a gortex shell or to wear alone. I purchased another coat but returned it because I am hooked on the omni heat lining. This has become a favorite. I did not find the hood oversize or bulky at all.

I love this coat! It fits snug, but comfortable. It's a pretty color (nocturnal blue color), that I haven't found anywhere. It slides right on because of the omni shield lining, and doesn't catch on my clothes which is nice when you're wearing layers. It isn't heavy or bulky, but just right.
