I ordered this jacket because I needed something to keep me warm when temps averaged 40-50, hoody's simply were not cutting it in these temps outdoors. Being a plus size I did not want a bulky jacket. This jacket is not bulky. The first time I wore it the temp was in the mid 40's, with a light breeze and I was sitting for a softball game. I did wear a fleece under this and I am happy to say that I was not the least bit cold. (My legs were but I ordered the thermal underwear for that.) I wonder if I would have been that warm had I not worn the fleece? Aside from that, I love the overall look of the jacket, the two way zipper and the hood. I usually wear a 1X on top but ordered a 2X because my hips fall in that range. I found that the 2x was a bit big and probably should have gone with the 1x. I will say that in my opinion, for layering order a size up. To wear this jacket with out layering order true to size. I'd like to add that I would not wear a fleece under this if I were to be moving around, running errands etc because I would definitely get too warm. Also I ordered the chalk and it is beautiful. Cut and color is very feminine. I hope it helps. Enjoy!

I love how lightweight this coat is! I tried a different brand's coat and it was at least twice as heavy and felt bulky. The Heavenly coat feels great and looks great...you don't feel like a puffy marshmallow in it. I like the fur-lined hood for cozy warmth and the zippered pockets, especially the inside one that holds your cell phone. I also really like the cuffs with the thumb hole - its easy to get your arm in the sleeve and the sleeve stays put and doesn't ride up. It's a great winter coat!

It is so warm for those cold, cold days and is just so easy going to move in. Love the hood for the extra warmth. Would definitely buy another !!!

Great looking winter coatI got this for my daughter she is a teacher she's outside with the children and she loves this jacket it's the perfect length over her hips and helps to keep her warm while she's running around doing whatever it is she needs to do in the cold Montana weather

I loved the jacket! It fit me, but left no room to move. I got the 3XL and could zip it up. I just needed a 4XL. So I had to return it and then had to get a men's jacket since they don't go up to 4XL in women's.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. This coat is exactly what I was looking for. Fits great and keeps me warms. I got an xl and its absolutely perfect. Not too long or bulky. Arm length is perfect. I highly recommend this coat.

After three different purchases and returns , I finally found this coat : I'm so happy I didn't just settle for a different one. There is room to layer up and still be comfortable.

I got this for my mother after she fell in love with my jacket which is a Men's Horizon Explorer. She loves how is keeps you warm without making you hot. It adapts to changing weather conditions really well. She liked the 1x better than the XL because is wasn't as curvy in the waist. She is so happy with it and she says that is the best and nicest looking jacket she has ever owned.

Very light weight but warm. I work outside, so it's very important I'm not weighted down with a heavy coat. Nice fit too.

This Columbia coat checks all the boxes. It is the perfect length, it is lightweight, it is warm, and has all the wonderful features I have been looking for, From the interior security pocket and fleece-lined hood to the thumb-hole comfort cuffs. It is my go-to coat, and I am as snug as a bug in a rug when I wear it. It fits me perfectly, as I am muscular on top and have had problems finding coats that give me the room to move freely. Bravo, Columbia. I am one happy girl.

Loved that I didn't feel weighted down but stayed nice and warm. If you are planning to wear thicker tops/shirts/sweaters you should size up.

I am not a fan of bulky winter coats, being a plus size, more bulk is unwanted. But this coat is just what its called, heavenly! There is no bulky feeling, but you feel warm and it's great at blocking the wind. I normally wear 14 to 18 in tops and I went with the 2xl to accommodate thicker tops, it's very roomy but not big looking. If it makes it through a Minnesota winter, it can make it anywhere! Give it a try my plus size ladies,I hope you love it like I do! I just purchased my daughter her own because she loves the non bulky look!

Just recently moved from FLorida to New Hampshire. The extreme cold is something I have never experienced. After trying a few other brand jackets Without much success at staying warm.I decided to go with the Columbia brand. The jackets description is everything I was looking for something that was light weight, long not too bulky but would keep me warm in the New Hampshire weather. It has lived up to its description proper layering and then this jacket as my outer piece has taken care of all of the issues when coming and going in the low temp weather. I would highly recommend anyone considering this jacket give it a try.

Love this jacket. Very lightweight but warm. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The length gives good coverage and the hood is cozy with the fur lining.

The coat is of the highest quality. It fits true to size. It is a gorgeous garment. The price is reasonable for such an excellent product. I may purchase in another color.

I bought this jacket a few weeks ago and I don't think I've gone more than two days without wearing it. I love how versatile the jacket is. I can wear it with a sweater, long sleeve, short sleeve and still be the right temperature. I work a lot outside so this jacket is perfect for my daily life. I also love the comfort cuff with the thumb holes because it makes putting on gloves everyday way easier. I may need to buy more colors soon!

This coat is all I wanted it to be. The zipper is a little tough to use but otherwise it's perfect.

Very light and super warm. I live in northern Iowa and it's been great for a new winter coat. I've also gotten compliments on how it looks.
