The size/width (7.5W) seems to be true in general without a sock. A little tight in the instep with socks, might be due to my personal foot shape only. Look very bulky. May be ok with jeans if you'd like to emphasize your "footprint". Pictures on site do not give this impression. I was looking for something less massive. Tightness in my instep was a concern as well. Have to return them. The craftsmanship and materials are good.

It fit really well. The width was slightly bigger than marked. The size itself was fine. It was klunckier than I had imagined, but overall I really do like the boot. Both in style and comfort.

These are so super cute and I could not wait to try them on. The width was fabulous but unfortunately they were too tight in the instep which I never even thought twice about.

Overall, very comfortable and fits true to size. I'm normally anywhere between an 8.5-9.5 and the 9 fit perfectly. There are removable insoles so I can use my orthotics. Otherwise, the insole it comes with is very high quality and comfortable already. I have these in Bordo and the color is really cute. In a size 9, they can ::sort of:: look like clown shoes with the wrong outfit, so if you don't have the wardrobe to match, get them in black (Which I tried and loved, but I already have lots of black shoes). They are also waterproof and have good traction and are warm- perfect for rainy or slushy weather. My one complaint is that the leather near where the tongue and laces are stitched together puckers in and causes acute pressure at the top of my foot, but as I wear them I can tell the leather is getting more flexible and that problem should hopefully go away.

I love the shoe except for the toe shape. It makes feel clunky.

This is a more rustic looking boot than some, but still very cute. Nice roomy toe box. However, I am used to minimal "glove" style running shoes & I found the heel to be quite heavy, especially at first. I suppose I could get used to that if I were to keep them. I found that my slim pants didn't neatly fit over the top of the boot, & I don't care for that loop at the top in the back, which also interfered with the pants. I'm sure that was a style decision by the designer, but not needed for putting on the boot - hint: side zipper.

I bought the navy suede and these are a really cute casual shoe. I have wide feet so was happy to see they came in that width. Perfect fit and very comfortable. Can't wait for fall weather to start wearing them!

Slightly too large. Especially in the heel. Very beautiful shoes.

Great to look at but a bit too long for the requested size and the stiffness of the sole made it not as comfortable as I had hoped. Also it perhaps water resistant, but the fabric looked as if once wet it might not look as good

This bootie is nerdy cute. My husband didn't like them, but I did. No arch support but that's easily remedied. Be warned: The waterproofing is odiferous. If I lived someplace with more of a wet or wintry climate, I might've kept these. I bought a Palladium heavy canvas high top at the same time, so Propet is being returned to the Zappo's wild.

I love this boot. Looks good, feels good all day. BUT, the "navy suede" is not navy. It's more of a teal blue.

Cute shoes but not true to fit on length. The 2E width seemed good but the shoes were way too long! Very disappointed.

I really like these, they're solid, my big feet feel good in them. But they are NOT BROWN, as another reviewer pointed out. They look brownish in certain indoor light, but once they're outside, they are undeniably purple. More like a lilac. So...that's ok, it makes them fun and quirky, but they are NOT BROWN.

In person, these are gorgeous shoes and very well made. I was disappointed that the heel and sole of the shoe was very firm and I ordered a 9.5 because everyone said they ran large, but they would have fit better in 10.5. Either way, I would have returned them because they did not provide enough softness under the foot and for a 9.5 it was pretty tight across the top of my foot. (I'm really a 9, but by the time I put my 3/4 orthotic and thick winter socks -- I order larger.

Let me start by saying I have extremely wide feet due to an awful bunion so every time I see an even remotely fashionable shoe in 4E I try to snap it up. Now we have that out of the way, these shoes in 4E fit like a 2E width. Even so, they are comfortable, weather proof, and I love that you can adjust the fit with the ties and then zip them on and off to make them easy to wear. The ties are a bit ugly but it’s easy-peasy to look up tutorials on line for how to hide ties. All in all a practical, comfortable, well made, affordable boot.

I loved the boot! It was comfortable right from the box. However, I am one of those unfortunate ones who has a foot 1/2 size larger than the other one. The boot fit my left foot really well, but the right foot was loose and my heel kept coming up as I walked, even with my arch supports in and thick socks. I am not sure whether I'll order a size down or not. Otherwise, my toes felt wonderful as I need a rounded toe box..and these fit the bill that way as well.

Definitely is a hiking boot look, I needed more fashionable.

I have foot problems (bunions, wide toe base), and many features of the Delaney accommodated those problems. The sole is great for tread in winter conditions. The laces allow flexibility for width, and the side zip is very convenient. There is room in the toe box for my wider foot. Unfortunately, the height of the boot is in the wrong place for my ankles, and was very uncomfortable. The ankle area is too tight for my wider leg. I tried both the leather and suede models. Both are stylish, and the soft suede was forgiving to my bunions. Very sad I have to return these boots!

I love them! They are more of a mulberry color than brown, which I really like. This brand fits very wide for me, so I ordered a 9.5 W (instead of WW), and they fit perfectly. They’re not terribly well cushioned, but with a pair of slightly padded hiking socks, they’re great!

These shoes are nice but they run way too big. I usually wear size 11, I ordered a 10 M width, and they are still one size too long and very wide. I have narrow feet but usually M width would work well with socks. These sizes are way off and look unflattering because of how wide they are.

I was a little nervous when I first tried these on because they felt very tight around the ball of my foot where it is the widest. I order the "D" width, which is normally the only wide option in a shoe. However, this was narrower than in other shoes that have "D" width versions. The reason, I discovered, was that this shoe comes in 3 different wide versions, regular wide (D), and extra wide (2E), and XX wide (4E). If I had realized that I probably would have gotten the extra wide. However, these shoes were super comfortable even though they were a little snug around the front. I wrote them all day right out of the box with no pain. Then I wrote them a 2nd and 3rd day in a row with no pain. The grip on the soles of these shoes is very impressive. Walking around the supermarket in most ankle boots you will have some slide but not with these. It's been a pleasure walking and standing for long periods of time, multiple days in a row with almost no foot or knee or back pain. I couldn't stand for more than a few minutes without my back or knees starting to hurt, but these shoes make me forget that that was ever an issue. I'm so happy with these I would definitely buy a second pair. The only things I have a problem with such as they scuff and collect dirt too easily because they're suede. The d-rings shift around while trying to lace them, I would have preferred eyelets. The waxy laces don't stay tied, even with a double knot. I'm always re-tightening my shoes. I love that they have a zippered side but it's almost completely useless because the lacing doesn't stay put. Overall, great high quality shoe that will probably last a while.

These booties are not "insulated" but felt like they were. There is a lot of cushioning inside and I think they would be comfortable walking shoes. However, the cushioning made them feel just too tight for my feet.

Disappointed in the brown color. Like the black. Zipper is so easy to put shoe on and take off. The laces are more for show. Returning because of the color. getting black instead.
