I’ve had so much trouble finding any shoes, let alone a bootie style that didn’t aggravate my Achilles and flare up a neuroma so I was happy with this bootie. Felt true to size and width and was able to wear them with medium thickness socks. Not much in the way of arch support but that is easily remedied with arch inserts. The navy was a bit lighter in color than I would have liked so I am exchanging them for a different color. Hopefully this new color bootie will be just as comfy.

Brown color is off in pictures. It looks rich and deep. In reality, it’s more of a beige brown. I do like them enough that I will reorder in a different size. But please make 10.5 Wide or even regular! I’m so sick of having to wear slightly big shoes because that size is rarely ever made!

I absolutely loved this shoe, so I'm very sad to have to be returning it. The shoe looks great and feels wonderful except ... the tongue is so thick and stiff that it hurt the front of my ankle. It hurt so much that I thought it was bruised. I even wore them for 4 hours around the house hoping they would break in and soften up and I loosened the ties. But it didn't happen, and I must send them back. If you changed the tongue to be one layer, and soft, I would buy them again in a minute. Too bad something so simple ruined them for me.

Color - a nice chocolate brown. Width - I'm a slightly wide medium. The Wide size in this boot felt just right, so I would guess the Medium would be too tight for me. I'm returning because once I saw the boots I was reminded of the limited wearability of suede. You can't wear them easily in rain or snow, without lots of cleaning. For that reason, I'm returning.

Fits well, but I don't like that I had to tie the shoelaces with a double knot to ensure they don't come undone when I'm simply walking round. I ue an orthotic insert for arch support, thus the reason I marked this as no arch support.

What a lovely stylish looking shoe. The quality of the leather was nice to the touch and appeared to be of good quality. I felt that it was a wee bit loose on me. I prefer an ample size toe box and ordered the wide but found the heal area felt loose. I instead put on a thicker sock which did give me a better fit. I'm still not convinced I will keep them and use the heavier sock to get that better fit when leather shoes will usually break and stretch a little, therefore, I will exchange for a half size down as I've done a time t\or two before and gotten lucky.... that's how much I like these shoes.... wish me luck.

These are great. They are truly wide and they accommodate my orthotics. They are a little clunkier than in the picture, but still good looking as wide shoes go. The front of the shoe/sole could be a little sturdier, but on the whole I'm happy with them.

The length and width were good, but the collar and tongue were stiff and rubbed against my ankles. Very well made shoes, but I will have to keep looking.

I have this boot in the gray suede and really like it. The black leather was too stiff to be comfortable for me, however. I appreciate that Propet makes narrow boots and shoes.

This is my second pair of these boots, and the second pair feels maaaaaybe a little lower quality than the first. But I like the style and the wide toe box for my weird toes, and they are my go-to pair all dry winter days.

Great shoe for my very wide feet! I removed the Propet orthotics and inserted my custom orthotics like I do with my other Propet shoes. The only thing I'm really not crazy about is the two-toned look with a darker color in the toe area but when you're feet are as wide as mine, you take what's comfortable!

Doesn't fit like other Propet boots I have, and it doesn't come with the extra insert to use when the shoe is a little too big. I'm not sure I could get the footbed out to replace it with an orthotic, either. I didn't try super hard, didn't want to mess it up because I knew I was going to return it anyway.

Too thin on the soles. I was looking for comfortable lace up boots in wide sizes, but these don’t provide enough support. Back they go.

Only saving that last star until after I get to wear them. Floridian here planning a trip to Alaska next summer. Can you tell I plan ahead? LOL. Nice shape on my feet, they don’t look like clunky boats. the 9 wide has ample room for warm socks. I bought the brown suede, which looked almost purple on the website, and they do have a faint purple cast which looks great with both blue and black jeans. Will also try with a pair of arch support inserts, but think these will be comfy on their own. 74 year old world traveler.

The fit was accurate, and they are good looking and could be comfortable for others. Unfortunately, they reach too high on my calves, and every step in them cut me.

had an old pair that was 7 2E , so I wanted to try the 4E. the black pair was the same width as the 2E, but the inside of shoe from the top to the bottom was too big unless your feet were so swollen and then they would have been too narrow. Also the black pair was very stiff leather.

Just a little too clunky for me. I love the way they look, just not on me!

A handsome boot you can tighten with laces. Mine ran large. No particular arch support.

These 4E are thankfully wide enough for my inserts, warm socks and my wide feet. It is sooo hard to find extra wide shoes in size 6.5 -7. They are comfortable too.

Oddly, I have 2 other pair of the same manufacturer, model, and size from previous years: brown suede, and bronze. Both fit great and are very comfortable. Maybe I got a bad pair, but these did not fit at all. Sent them back. Thanks, Zappos, for your return policy!

Didn't fit well in the width, i have wide feet. will return.
