They are huge and clunky! Which isn’t a bad thing, but they were definitely larger than I had expected. They’re very comfortable and I like them, although I normally wear a 10 and they feel a half size bigger. Easy to get on and off, they definitely do what they’re supposed to.

Most of my boots are size 10E, but some models I can wear a 10D just fine. These Bogs Workman boots are supposed to have a removable insole that gives more room for a wider foot, but to tell the truth, they fit just fine as they came out of the box. Most of the bad winter weather is probably behind us now, so I'll have to wait and post an updated review next year.

Originally ordered a size 12, but the fit was a bit loose. Reordered an 11, just right. Very warm and cozy on a Montana mountaintop in January.

My boyfriend is normally a size 11 but ordered a size 10 on a whim. They fit perfectly even with socks. Ultimately they were too short for what he was looking for. And the opening at top was too wide which would end up with snow easily getting into the boot if deep enough. They'd be good moderate snow boot but not for the serious stuff. Returned and went with another brand.

I've only had these for a few weeks so that's the only reason for the four stars. So far I love these boots. Easy to slip on and take off and very warm so far. We haven't had super cold temps yet but I've been out in a little snow and slush with them and only have good things to say. Very comfortable boots. Just wish they offered half sizes.

These are a new purchase so I can't speak to durability though a previously owned pair of a different type of BOGS held up well, They appear to be well made though I have one design complaint. there is a horizontal "V" shaped structure built into the heal area of the boots which puts pressure on the Achilles tendon, which is not desirable for me anyway. Some surgery will be required. They are spacious and that works well for me. Time will tell concerning durability.

Go to boot for outside winter farm chores: sheep, chickens, feedings, watering, cleanup, etc. and generally just knocking about outside. Am not using them for hiking, or chainsawing. Only had them a few weeks but have gotten snow, rain and icing, and some temps down to 10-15deg. Haven't slipped yet. Easy to pull on and extra heel rubber hard point makes kicking them off a breeze. Super warm. Almost too hot. Can't wait for deep winter to settle in. Haven't tried the Mucks but certainly happy with these Bog boots.

I've only worn these for a few days, but they seem to be a comfortable boot, warm, easy to get on and off. Looking forward to not having to lace up every time I go do something outside of the house!

I typically wear a 10.5 and, even with two socks on, the Bogs Workman 9 fit properly if even a bit on the loose side (once their second insole 'shim' was removed). Bogs have updated the design from what was pictured here when I purchased, and now their big ol' LOGO is branded on the front -- a key part of what has inspired me to return them. I've had multiple cold-weather injuries and so the temp ratings on boots never seem to come close to reality for me. Since I make deliveries in Maine (by way of Minnesota, by way of North Dakota -- no stranger to winters) upward of 60 hours a week, I purchased these since they were rated to -72°F (while my Salomon Toundras are 'merely' rated to -40°F and the Sorel Caribou Wool — also -40°F — were a very classic looking, very heavy mistake that weren't as warm as I'd hoped). But, after wearing a Toundra on one foot and a Workman on the other for the last hour (indoors, since I'm returning them), I can't say that the Workman feels the least bit warmer. I mean, -72°F is one heckuva serious claim about a boot and these aren't the least bit 'arctic' in their performance. But. If the temp rating were suitable for your needs, and the logo didn't bother you, these do seem like fairly quality boots for what they are. If they'd worked for me in those ways, I'd probably have exchanged them for the taller 17-inch model to wade through snow drifts with a bit more confidence in light of the open top. As it is, I'll try blousing my pants to my Solomons for this season, and then maybe try the Baffin Impact and/or something from Aku if need be.

I had high hopes for these boots, but they were not right for me. My previous pair of BOGS boots were the Rancher model - taller and quite heavy. So was intrigued by the advertised weight reduction in the Workman model. Unfortunately, for me, the weight reduction comes with too many compromises. First, let me start by saying that I am 5' 10', 215 lbs with narrow, flat Size 11 feet - so I have a hard time getting a good fit in a boot. So, for me, I need support and stability in a boot. Initially, these Workmans felt pretty good, and they are very light compared to the Ranchers. But the more I walked in them, the more they seemed a little too thin and flexible and unstable for me (too much flex in the sole). The reduction in weight and thickness of material also comes with a penalty in insulation - you can really feel the cold much more than in the Ranchers. Others have mentioned irritation in the area of the Achilles tendon, due to the the V-shaped heel portion. I did find that the design seemed to lock in my heel better than most boots and I could feel a little pressure on my Achilles tendons, but it was not bothersome to me. I don't have any data on durability, since I elected to return mine. But if you are looking for a lighter boot, and have more normal feet than I do, you may like these boots a lot.

Comfortable but No way these boots could be rated to -72f. I had them out hunting in 25F and after 3hrs my toes were frozen. And I had very warm socks on.

Coming undone where the rubber meets the cloth. I started wearing them in January. I wash a floor for 15 minutes at end of shift. I do not recommend.

I wanted to love this boot after reading the glowing review on Outdoor Gear Lab. However, I found the boot sized a full size too large (I normally wear a 12 and was swimming in this 12) and I absolutely couldn't stand the heel holder ridge thing - it dug into the back of my heel in a very uncomfortable way. While I'm giving this boot a 2-star review, Bogs gets 5+ stars for their customer service and very easy return and exchange - swapped this for the Arcatas in size 11 and they're perfect. In conclusion, I'd say this boot is for folks with MUCH wider feet than mine and who are excited about a heel retention system that feels unlike any other shoe you've ever tried.

I am a professional gardener. I take care of my boots. Nightly they go on a boot dryer. I was a long time XtraTuf customer. I purchased my first pair of Workman CT's one year ago. They last about a year before the insides deteriorate (heal) and the Neo-Tech starts to separate from the rubber and crack at the rubbers edge. Though I appreciate the boots being 30% lighter and the new heal design my new Workmans are not as warm and the soles & sides are not as thick/stiff. When I step on sharp rocks I can feel them. If a 1/2 inch branch falls on my foot I feel it. I'll need to figure something out before next winter. Bogs keep the new heal design but for us that need a professional boot go back to the heavier materials.

I'm seriously disappointed that the heal of these (and Mid as well) has been changed to a harder heel. These now feel like wearing cowpoke boots rather than the awesome comfortable boots they used to be. I've been wearing these boots for nearly 10 years. I left lacrosse because they have such a hard heel on their boots, but at least their ankle fit boots fit my feet better and aren't so wide like these. Since Bogs has designed the comfort out of these boots, I might as well go back to Lacrosse.

Very poor quality/ workmanship. Boots came unglued after 4 hours of use. Now I get to deal with an online return. Thanks Bogs Try building a boot that actually does what the description states.
