I usually wear size M but bought this vest in S and it is still a little wide around the waist. I would have preferred it to be a little slimmer but it's fine and I'm keeping it.

Great vest...awesome!

First North Face purchase. Perfect for backpacking in Cedar Mesa. Lightweight yet warm.

I'm 5'9" , 155 . The medium was too big for me , small was better .

Love this vest - an improvement on the previous model. Unlike the previous version, which I also own, this one now includes a small internal zip pocket (e.g. for keys, metrocard, etc.). It also has drawstring bungies at the waist. I do wish the bungies were better and slimming the vest to achieve a more customizable fit, however. I'm one of those who's in between sizes. I'm 6'0", 173lbs -- size S (first time in my life i've been a size S) fits my waist and hips perfectly, but was too narrow on the arm openings and across the shoulders; size M fits across the shoulders and the arm openings are perfect, but the waste is slightly roomy and the drawstring bungies don't pull in a way that allows it to cinch down precisely to my fit. Not the item's fault per se, but a slightly more customizable fit would be great. Maybe for the next version (hint hint!).

Love this product. I'm on the small side for men (5' 4") so it's very hard finding clothes that fit well. This fits PERFECTLY (ok maybe a TOUCH long) and I'm very pleased. Price is right, and would definitely purchase again if something happens to this one.

I purchased the vest primarily for layering while skiing. This is my second Thermoball product. They are lightweight but are very warm. They seem to breathe well. I have been nothing but happy with these products. I intend to get another vest and jacket in different colors. I recommend this product 100%.

This vest is as advertised....great fit and quality...I actually own a Nano Puff as well and the Thermoball is now my go to and trumps the Nano in everyway. The North Face has a new loyal...

Great product. Fits perfectly. Lightweight, and easy to use as a layering piece for hiking, hunting, skiing, or whatever else you might need. As always with The North Face, a great quality good.

Love this vest, looks great, fits great. And the sizing calculator definitely delivered the fit I wanted. I will be buying more of these as they are great for any occasion and can go with work or casual clothing.

I use it as a layer under a warm parka and over long sleeve base layer and long sleeve flannel or other warm shirt.

The product it is good

Can wear out to dinner as well as to work and play.

Base layer during extreme cold, only jacket with long sleeves when in and out of car or around town in 40 -50 degree midwestern weather.

Brian is a great vest. I wear it a lot over a sweatshirt, or a long sleeve t. It's super comfy!

Love the jacket. It's comfortable and lightweight. Great for being outdoors or casual wear.
