Base layer during extreme cold, only jacket with long sleeves when in and out of car or around town in 40 -50 degree midwestern weather.

Brian is a great vest. I wear it a lot over a sweatshirt, or a long sleeve t. It's super comfy!

Great under sports coat for travel

Once again north face comes through with flying colors when the introduced this classic vest. I bought two on these. One for each of my sons. They both loved the style , the weight , fabric and fit. Thank you north face. I will buy these again

This is a multi purpose vest, Looks good enough to wear to restaurant on a chilly evening but warm enough to wear on a hike with a warm merino wool bae layer at elevation, I took a Thermoball jacket to Everest base camp last year and wore the vest version most days with a thick smartwool layer and stayed warm whilst hiking only needing a jacket when I stopped, The Primaloft core is thin and light but very warm, Nice addition is the elastic draw cords at the waist which when cinched keeps drafts out, A great addition to any backpack

I always shop NF for gifts for my husband. He's particular, and I always find the perfect gift; the right color, style, weight. He has a NF product for every outdoor need. Superior quality products.

Not only do I have this in women's and love it. Now my husband looks good and doesn't feel stuffy or bulky and definitely takes care of business when it comes to cold weather. Definitely recommend this vest.

Kind of loose but comfortable. Not too short. XL fits a 50" chest, 36waist. Plenty of room in the waist.
