Was very impressed with the build quality of this jacket. It looks really well put together and the materials used look wonderful. Wore it several times in the rain and it beaded up nicely. Also I love the way it looks on me ordered a small (150 lbs 5'8) and it fit exceptionally well. Perfect really! I even have enough room for a hoodie underneath without feeling restricted.

Overall, I would recommend this jacket to everyone. It is great, light and compact doesn't take up much space. I highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't like wearing heavy coats in the winter months.

I got this for my nephew. He has not worn it yet, but I saw him try it on and the jacket fits and looks great.

thermoball jackets may be the best that money can buy. the performance/weight of it alone seems to be the pinnacle of materials. staying warm while wet is also a breakthrough making down obsolete. the ripstop inside and out make it slippery and moving around is more comfortable than anything ive experienced. its so light and warm its deceiving, i feel like im stepping out for a spring day in below freezing temperatures. i have a remix, a full zip, and a duo hoody. it seems two of these may be discontinued and i am very glad i have them all!

I bought this jacket specifically for a cruise to Alaska. I knew I'd be photographing outdoors in the cold and wind for hours but didn't want to be bogged down by a big jacket. It is lightweight, packs easily, is super comfortable, and works well with a layer beneath like a hooded sweatshirt. I wore it constantly. Love it.

This jacket is deceivingly warm and comfortable. It's so lightweight and thin however keeps me warm in the deadliest of winter weather. I should know since I live in the arctic North known as Grand Rapids,MI. :)

Love this jacket. It's a nice weight, not too bulky for MN fall and it's comfortable. I am normally a large, but purchased this in a medium so you may want to beware of the sizing.

Wow... I deliberated so long whether to buy this jacket or a goose down equivalent. I live in NZ and decided to head out for a walk in light rain with just the Thermoball jacket and a very light cotton t-shirt underneath... it was 10 Celcius outside (50 farenhiet). The rain got heavier; after walking 1 1/2 hours the jacket was sodden with rain, but I remained TOASTY warm... Even better, when I came home my bare arms were a tad wet (but not cold) and my t-shirt was BONE DRY! The inside of the jacket wasn't even wet! Those little Thermoball clusters must do a great job of resisting the wet. It's Amazing. This is going to be the perfect jacket for a multitude of uses... I look forward to more adventures in it! Wet AND warm - instead of smelling like a wet goose... awesome!

Northface has become synonymous to adventure, challenge, strength, and persistence. My brother is a huge fan of hiking and Northface is a brand he trusts the most in terms of quality, value for money and durability. He has been planning to hike to the base camp of K2 (the highest mountain peak in Pakistan, and the second highest in the world). So, when it came to buying him a birthday present, I did not have to think twice about his favourite brand and a product that would give him the best utility. Northface is for people who love living on the edge. For such people it is essential that they develop bonds of trust whether it is with their companions or their gear, someone or something that they can rely on when the going gets tough. Northface, with its lifetime guarantee, knows that the product they are giving to their customers is indeed top notch and the best there is. I hope my brother has a successful trip and I'm glad to be contributing to his dream in a small way that I can.

I went through the entire winter with this jacket and it really worked well an an outer layer. Weather between 10-30 degrees usually had me in a base layer, flannel, and this, and I was very comfortable and warm, even in a light breeze. I wouldn't call this a performance jacket but for everyday wear when layered correctly, it operates well.

This jacket is outstanding. The best part is that living in a Southern Midwest state (Kentucky), the temperature changes so much from morning to afternoon. Therefore, the key is layering. With jackets lightweight technology and feel I can start with this warm jacket in the morning and shed layers as the day goes on.
In addition, I have found the jacket breathes really well, not allowing me to get overheated but staying very warm in all cold temperatures, whether I am in Kentucky or the Northern Great Lakes region where I am from.
Would highly recommend this jacket for three-season-usage and its comfortability.
