I am outside a lot, I usually go out without putting on a jacket because I don't like to deal with putting on a heavy jacket. But this one is so light weight I love wearing it. So warm to.

This jacket is amazing. I've worn it to school countless times, taken it on a few hikes and backpacking trips, and done all sorts of other activities with it, and it's still basically good as new. This jacket kept me warm in a tempo paced snow hike in 29 degrees, and I didn't feel cold at all. I've taken it on an overnight backpacking trip in the San Gorgonio wilderness and it kept me nice and warm when it got to about 35 degrees at night in a borrowed sleeping bag I didn't quite trust. I got it in orange, and love the color. It's extremely lightweight and soft, perfect for any outdoor activity when you're looking to save weight. I just love this jacket and this brand, and have been really impressed by all my TNF gear so far!

Lightweight and extremely warm. This jacket puts out so much heat it eliminates the need for excess layers in cold temps. If you're looking for high performance without the bulkiness look no further.

This is a beautiful jacket! Bought for 15 year old son. Fits perfectly in tiny school locker..and we love hiking - this weight will be perfect for that! It's a little slimmer fit-with not much give...so the bottom of the coat is tighter than we're used too - but, it's very stylish. We went up a size... for a perfect fit!

This jacket was the replacement for my last Thermoball. These jackets have a lifetime warranty and North Face is true to their word. I had my last jacket for 5 years and after some slight discolouration I had it sent back under warranty and they replaced it with a new one. Thank North Face. You have a customer for life.

I love the style and the slim fit. I wear xs size and this jacket is true it size, fit me nicely. It keep me warm in above 45 degree cold. I have not test it under 45 degree cold yet. I wear it every day to work and going out. My to go jacket now.

This is my new favorite jacket, hands down, and of course the Thermoball is one of NF's signature items. Note that for 2018 they changed it to a slim fit style, and thank goodness. The previous season had a standard fit and my usual medium was too loose and baggy (and of course the small was too small). To put this in context, I'm 5'10" 178 lbs. with a 33" waist and the medium in this new slim version fits PERFECTLY - snug and tapered but not tight. In addition, this jacket not only looks good with casual wear but works as a stylish fall/winter jacket commuting to the office. Normally, wearing down jackets or casual wear with dress clothes is cringe-inducing for me, but I wore this with dress pants/dress shirt/dress loafers and it paired beautifully. I like the way this jacket looks as a stand alone, as it takes away from the aesthetics otherwise if you layer in my view. Tons of compliments every time I wear it. NF is pricey but I'm seriously debating getting another in a different color. It's hard for me to find jackets with the perfect fit. Highly recommended.

The slim fit works well with this lightweight style. I like the matte finish as well. Very useful for everyday wear in cold or rainy weather in winter season.

This product is so awesome. If you are into a trendy warm jacket that has an all purpose look to it, this is the jacket for you.

I love the material

Just love this jacket as it is great for camping, backpacking and works well under a rain shell jacket. I also wear this around town as an everyday casual jacket when it's cold enough. Best part of this jacket is it can be turned into a little ball for storage with the help of one of the front pockets and is really light.

Sent this to my son who is in the Army and a gym rat. He wanted something casual and lighter weight. He opened his gift early to make sure it fit and because he needed it now. He called and said he loves,loves, loves it. Said it was the best gift ever! Fits good, is warm, and Looks good!
