I use this whenever I'm outside and it's cold.

All purpose

Good jacket overall, light weight and warm. Unfortunately I had to return it because I ordered medium and got small. Not Zappos fault (Zappos ships super fast). The small sized jacket came in a medium bag. Don't know how it passed quality control at TNF.

Ve have 3 of these jackets &still do..i use one for my outdoor work backup on railroad tracks..need I say anything more..well plus i just bought 2more & one with a hood..jumped up in size for a better fit w/my xtra weight on me..pound for pound best go too jacket EVA!

I wear it for casual wear and Hiking long walks with my dog. I also wear it after my long runs.

I have had this coat for two years and wear it all the time. We live on a small ranch in Wyoming and i use this coat all the time. It is warm and cuts the wind very well, in the fall and winter i layer with this most of the winter. It is an excellent jacket for riding and packs down very well. Washes easily and is my go to very light coat.

I received this as a birthday gift and it's simply awesome. I have purchase Northface jackets in past and I have never been disappointed with their quality! This is my new jacket for upcoming season.

This thing fits this husky, ample male just fine. I bought one for my son and liked it so much on him, I bought one for me.

This is my second thermoball in 6 years. By far, the best lightweight coat for MN winters. It's light, but very warm.

This jacket will be my daily wear once it gets colder. It's light enough but yet warm enough to wear anywhere. I will definitely be buying another.

I was on a jacket splurge and this was among the 3-5 jackets I bought. Between all the jackets, I use this jacket the most due to the look, fit and flexibility in different settings.

I saw this at the store and have always wanted a bubble style coat. I saw this new camo style, tried it on and loved it. I didn't pull the trigger just yet. But it kept bugging me that I didn't buy it... So a little while after I got home that night I ordered it. I like that it's lightweight, comfortable, wind and water resistant plus top it off it's packable. I can't wait till it cools down so I can wear it.

I'm typically a hot person. I love how light it is but still keeps me warm without putting on a heavy coat

I use it in those early cold mornings in the desert, when filming outdoors is an everyday job, wearing a reliable and confortable jacket is a must.

It is a great jacket, very light but it will keep you warm in cold weather. It comes in slim fit but it works practically as a regular fit, not baggy and will let you use it as a mid layer if it gets colder, order it in your usual size or a one size up of you want to use it over a heave sweater or a hoodie. I have a Patagonia nano puff and in my opinion this jacket is better in every aspect. I would recommend it!!

Love the jacket, red color, fit but time will tell if the stitching holds or starts to unravel. Easy to fold up and pack. What's not to love.

The jacket fit my needs and was everything I expected. The jacket is very light despite being very warm as well. By being able to be packed into the pocket, it is perfect for trips and travel. The orange is vibrant and stylish.

This jacket was a gift for my father in law. However, every member of the family has at least one thermoball jacket. My wife has four..... For me this is the perfect jacket for 50- upper 30's. If you're moving, even lower. Another reason everyone in the family has one, it's perfect for traveling. I make my kids take theirs, even in the summer because they pack down so small. Mine always ends up being someone's pillow.
