Bought thus for my husband for Christmas he loves it. He wears it snowboarding, very comfortable and warm but also lightweight.

Used this jacket skiing in Steamboat! Snowed all 4 days that we skiied and this jacket was very warm!

I bought this specifically for my early morning 10-15 minute walk from car to work. This winter has had it's share of wind chills in single digits but mostly temps have been in 20's. This coat and a sweater have been sufficient.

Thus was a Christmas gift. My son loves this coat. It is do comfortable, warm and versatile. Great for skiing.

I live in Minnesota and during our most recent cold spell, windchill 45 below, I ventured out for my daily walk and it kept me nice and warm.

This is a great casual coat. It's not that heavy so not recommended for extreme conditions, but a great weight for hiking or walking. Or if you'd properly layered up, you'll be good to go wherever.

Bought for my teenage son as he hates large bulky coats. Keeps him warm and well insulated.

Husband loves the options with wearing both jackets or just the single option

Use all winter. No need to used much more closes under the jacket. Also, it is waterproof so it is great for rainy days. Finally, the color and the material are great

It was great for day to day use with protection from rain and wind. Nice option, when it warms up during day, being able to make adjustments. I was looking for a jacket for car camping and hiking in the Sierra's, so unfortunately I did return. I have a Denali and Nano jacket already. Easier with built in layers in Triclimate but very similar. Fit was perfect. I am 6'3 250 and ordered XXL. Little Long in arms as you would want

Bought it for just 100$,very handy jacket in a various climate conditions. Snow,rain is not a big deal,you'll be fine/

Great for November-December

Bought this coat to be outside in south central Alaskan winter biking, hiking, working, etc. I've found this jacket to be the perfect amount of warmth and weather proofing. The best part is that the shell works as my rain jacket even in the summer to stay dry, the inner layer works perfectly in the fall or spring to keep out the morning/evening chill. Together they keep me perfectly comfortable to -35. I highly recommend this jacket if you need protection for all weather.

Use this as my day to day jacket in Minnesota. The weather can get below zero and this is a perfect lightweight and comfortable jacket that keeps you warm.

It was a great gift jacket! Awesome colours. So light but so warm!

I've used this all winter in NYC and it's great! The windproofing and waterproofing are fantastic and make it perfect for inclement weather. It's super easy to combine and separate the pieces, and they're both lightweight enough to fold up and put in a backpack if you're out and about. I have two minor complaints: there's no ventilation, so if you're out hiking or moving a lot, you'll end up having to pull the layers on and off because it's not breathable. But that's what you get with a shell that keeps everything out \_()_/ Secondly, I'm a slender 5'8 guy, and the men's smalls at The North Face have always been too big on me, it would be nice to have a smaller option. But functionally this coat is great and super versatile, I'm a fan!
