This show is very comfortable as it is lightweight and flexible. Don't be fooled by its light weight this shoe has great traction and is also very durable. With the Gore-Tex, your feet will stay dry in any condition. Great all around shoe that you can do pretty much anything in.

I bought these shoes I think back in September maybe October because I wanted to try only one pair of shoes for a trip to Australia and New Zealand. I wanted my RX Break flip flops and these. My hope was to live in these 2 footwear items and nothing else for a month and a half. I normally overpack so I thought it was a bold move for me. I also don't like to review something fresh out of the box, no point there. I walked in them a little bit in October and November, maybe 20 miles. However for a month and a half they were my go to shoes, for the city streets the trails, the tracks as they call them out there, the beach, the airport, for crossing streams for absolutely everything. When I took them off I put on my RX Break flip flops. What a perfect combination. The shoes is not perfect fresh out of the box but it softens quickly and it wraps your foot comfortably. I normally wear a size 6.5 in Nike, Merrell and many other shoes including Frye boots, but in Salomon I am a size 6. After getting the shoes totally soaked I took the insoles out and laced them on the dashboard to the car, the shoes on the floor. It took them a day and a half to dry because all it did was rain for 2days. I love the shoes they are comfortable for hiking, walking and functioned very well on a mountain bike with aggressive pedals. I'd buy these shoes again in a heartbeat.

I recently received this shoe from Salomon as a replacement for another shoe that had a manufacturing fault on it and I must say that I am absolutely in love with the look of the shoe. Well put together, lovely colour and they look amazing on my feet BUT the right foot 'pinches' me on my toe with every step so much so that I actually had a blister on my toe after a long walk. So strange because it's only the right foot. So now I am torn.... Having read some of the other reviews, my pair doesn't have the same issues and they are really great looking shoes. Maybe I shoes just wear thicker socks?
