I borrowed the gloves on the gear library program. Unfortunately they did not live up to my expectations for arcteryx gear. My hands were cold in them and it was not a particularly cold day. I also found the cinching mechanism was insufficient for forming a heat seal around my wrist. So in general I thought they were pretty average.

I have had these gloves for a few seasons. Have skied in warmer conditions and cold conditions. Most recently skied Breckinridge in mid-teens with very high winds (75mph gusts). The gloves kept my hands relatively warm in challenging conditions. This has been consistent in other cold ski conditions. On warmer days you will find they may be too warm and your hands get sweaty. I like the wrist straps and have found them to be very durable.

After trying the best cycling winter gloves I could find, I always end up with cold or wet hand, so I decided to test top range mountain gloves. They are a bit bulky for road cycling, but they kept me warm and dry, last winter, I used them for my daily commute and long weekend ride and they always delivered, after 1 winter, they still look new! My worst ride was over 3 hours, raining with 1 degree outside and gloves kept me warm and dry. I haven't used them for mountain activity, but with the speed on road bike, 1 degree feels a lot more colder.

I purchased these gloves for skiing but quickly found them as my new favorite ice climbing glove. They aren't so bulky and fit great under the cuff of most jackets. Used in -15C days without cold fingers. For a glove over the jacket cuff look at something like the Rush SV. You will not fit these over the cuff of any jacket other than a small puffy as the cuff is fairly small. Very durable. I've abused these gloves and belayed with them. Little to no ware from the rope thus far.

Great Glove. Perfect for shredding around the resort and backcountry. I like that they are lower profile, with shorter cuff that fits easily under jacket sleeves. Not bulky and awkward when velcroing sleeve. They breathe well and stay dry on wet days and warm in colder weather. Good dexterity, streamline and not too thick , but enough lining to be warm and reliable.

Great, well made gloves that are strong and durable. Really nice fit so easy to work with your hands on skins/ other equipment when ski touring but can get a bit cold on the fingers in really cold weather

Bought these to replace Venta Glove as they are not a Uk Winter. Found that they are warm enough for a cold Uk snap of weather, Yes I also found as others that they do come up a bit large. Fit very well under shell jacket. Arcteryx quality although not had them long enough yet.

Trs bon gant que j'utilise pour le snowboard. Chaud et respirant. Lors de froid extrme j'utilise un sous-gant sans quoi j'ai lgrement froid sur une longue priode.

I ordered these gloves to replace a pair of Dakine Excursion gloves that I have owned for about 6 years, because I felt that the insulation had packed out in them. The Sabre glove has a similar construction and fit, but does not seem to be as warm as my old Dakine gloves with packed out insulation. The Sabre glove is very comfortable, and has excellent dexterity. I know warmth is a very personal and subjective thing, but I was expecting more from a new and expensive ski glove.

Leather splits in the fingertips after only a few weeks of skiing. Leather is only 1/40" thick and feels very thin, elastic, and delicate. My own skin is twice as thick and much more durable (It doesn't split while skiing). Hard to believe Arc'teryx designed this.

I bought this pair and found they are warm and good. I got the M size but they run bigger than normal M size. I had Spyder M size which fit very well but these gloves are bigger so I had to return

I must own 10 pieces of Arcteryx from the Sabre AR pants and jacket, Macai, Camosun, Zeta AR,;Gamma MX and Lt and more. Bought these gloves last winter. Only wore them about 4 or 5 times sking and just pulled them out of the closet and noticed a small tear at bottom of the thumb. Hugely disappointed as I really liked them until just now.

Overall I really like this glove and 95% of the time it is great. Keeps me warm (no liner glove needed), dry and has great dexterity. I have had them for 2 seasons of snowboarding now and they are holding up very well as expected. However, they really are not waterproof so if that is important to you I would suggest another model. I recently spent a day riding in very moist snow (almost rain) in fairly warm temperatures. By shortly after noon my gloves were soaked through completely from some combination of the chair lift, strapping up bindings and just riding. I was perfectly dry inside my pants (Sabre) and shell (Rush) but my gloves were literally soaking wet all the way through. If you ski in dry conditions (or in drier snow these work great. If you are mostly in humid/moist snow or spring skiing I would definitely give these a pass and get a waterproof pair.

I've had such great longevity out of every piece of arcteryx gear I have picked up over the years, so much so it's much I believe it's cheaper in the long run as it lasts so long. With that said the gloves didn't fair so well in the finger tips, everything else held together great. Please beef up the stitching and/or material. Fit was much larger than expected.

I use these gloves for skiing on the West Coast of Canada (Whistler). We don't get super cold weather. These gloves are not warm. I had to buy an inner gloves to stop my hands from going numb. These gloves are probably best suited for mild weather/spring skiing, not mid winter. Otherwise they seem durable and are well built

I'm a huge fan of almost all the Arc'teryx gear I have, but I'm immensely disappointed in these gloves. I purchased them two weeks ago ahead of a ski trip and the second run down I had to go buy new gloves. They have absolutely no warmth in the fingertips. I do not recommend these whatsoever if you plan to use these actively in colder temps. Frankly, it was not all that cold either; only about 20 degrees
