I really like the idea of these. They are warm and, initially, the sock liners are so comfortable. But, it didn't take long for the liners to go flat for good. They stay on well, but that also means they by no means slide on; I have to have a good handle on the heel to get my foot in. The adult version that go up to the ankle are much easier to get in and out of.

These slippers are so cute and my kids was excited when he pulled them out but he couldn't get his foot into them. When e finally got them on, they were too big in the shoe part but the tops of the slippers were cutting into his feet. Sadly they went back!

They are very tight across the arch. Uncomfortably so. I knew they ran small, so I should have ordered a size larger. I usually take a 3 so I ordered a 3.5 and it still wasn't large enough.

Had to return and exchange because felt one size smaller than what it should be. We did not get Zappos discount of valued customer on second pair even it was an exchange. Nice design but narrow and hard to put foot in and bit heavy for child slipper.

I wanted to love these but they are SO hard to get on. The backs do not stretch at all. They're actually a size up too and my son cannot get them on himself

Second time in as many years we’ve tried this shoe and they are so tight and challenging to slide off and on our child refuses to wear them. We even sized up but they’re too snug at the ankle to easily slide on and off the way you expect a slipper to. Otherwise they seem like great quality.

I sent them back. They do not run true to shoe sizes... this was really small and tight for my son.

Despite this item was on sale and such a great deal, I still returned the item because I feel that there isn't good foot support. What bothers me the most is the fact that the shoes actually squeak when I walk. For those reasons enough, I gave it a two star.

I don't even know what to say lol. I have petite feet. I wear kids shoes in all sorts of styles and forms, including Uggs Kids Tasman slippers. The hole through which you're supposed to get these North Face slippers on your feet....who's wearing these things, elves????? And NO give whatsoever to get them on, no stretch.
They're going back.

I was surprised at how little cushioning these slippers provide. They make my feet feel tired just wearing in my home. Like Columbia TNF is another company lowering quality for $.

Ran way too small. Son couldn't eve fit in his feet. Wish we had tried them on first and knew to either size way up or skip altogether.

TNF has a serious problem making shoes that kids can get their foot IN! This is the second time dealing with a shoe that is too tight for a child to get their foot in. I will never buy another shoe from TNF. It's absolutely ridiculous. The opening isn't big enough for the foot to get through and the material has zero stretch. I'm not sure who's making these shoes but it's terrible. Buyer beware. And after waiting weeks for the order to actually arrive I have to print a label, pay $5 & get it to the post office for return. Second time on a totally different shoe, same problem.

I am a big fan of The Northface, and never had issues with size but these mules for kids just don't fit right, the opening should have flexibility and should slide in the child's foot. she want a pair like her mom and I'm disappointed these don't .

Seems like great shoes, but neither of my kids could get their feet into them. The part that goes over the top of the foot is WAY too tight for them to get their toes to the front of the slipper, let alone get their heel into the slipper and pull the back of the slipper on.

Both my 5 and 8 yo couldn’t fit their feet into these. They have no problem fitting into any other shoe - the opening for these slippers was just too small for them to fit. We tried the sz 1 and 3. I am puzzled at the other positive reviews/ not sure how their kids got their feet in, unless the kids are younger and are getting help still putting on their shoes? Even with my help, neither of my kids could get their normal width feet into the opening. It was a shame bc the shoes looked great. But slippers are meant to be the easiest shoe to slip on as you walk out the door. These were the opposite. Returned.

I’m not sure how any kids can fit their feet in these? My 5 & 8 year old boys could not get their feet in. The opening is very narrow, and while the shoe was definitely long enough, and they were excited to get them on, after much tugging and pushing, their feet were completely squished in. Note they were sizes 1 and 3. I could barely get my hand in. Maybe it works better for younger kids? Totally bummed as I loved the look and figured these would last us a while. (My 5yo said these aren’t slippers, they’re squeezers ?).
