Boots were shipped in the wrong size, 1 full size too small (although the box had the correct size). The boots actually were close to fitting. I would say they run a good 1/2 size to full size big, so order smaller. They really have a fit like cowboy boots, narrow tip. They were too narrow for my foot. The soles are hard, like a dress shoe. I think the shoes look ok, the brown weathered look is unique, but they just didn't fit my feet well so I returned them
