Love, love these sandals for traveling. Fit like a glove, cushy soft on inside and great tread outside. Was able to put them on and immediately start walking on a cloud. At first, I thought they were a little “old lady like” but have had lots of compliments on them. I got them for a trip to India last year and was advised that my shoes would have been through so much muck that I should leave them behind. I could not bear to. Good thing. Broke my ankle and once I was in a soft brace found these were the only shoes that would go on my feet. I am wearing them around now even in the snow because I can simply tuck the strap up under the brace’s Velcro and not trip. I was nigh on to despondent when I thought they could not be replaced, but just went on line and, without knowing the name, but looking for the few clues that remain like “made in Portugal”, found them. BTW, now I know you can check your order history to find prior orders. Over the years, I have learned that when you like shoes, clothing or a lipstick color, you should buy another pair lest they stop making it.

Comfortable right out of the box, and I hope that proves true over. time. Love the sort of retro look. They easily adjust to accommodate an instep cushion. Another win for Spring Step.

Fit, size, and comfort are perfect. But the deciding factor for my purchasing these was the placement of the "buckle." Hard to find that feature on 95% of sandals out there. The ankle strap on the INSIDE of this sandal is soft, smooth, and lays flat against my foot. The "buckle fold" is on the outer side of the shoe. VERY comfortable...no rubbing against my foot bone. (Previously owned sandals - 3 pairs! - with inner buckle fold are now history.) Thank you for this great sandal.

Love these sandals! It is so hard to find sandals that accept orthotics, and as much as I love Finn Comfort’s quality, my favorite pair has been giving me blisters as my foot problems increase. I must wear orthotics with every shoe, and my orthotics are slightly visible at the heel in these shoes, but I am beyond worrying about that. Took them out of the box this afternoon and don’t want to take them off!

Unbelievable comfort from a sandal.

I have a difficult foot. . . narrow heel, A sizing, but as i'm a senior, my foot can turn to a B. on days when I'm actively teaching, I may not be able to sit for much of a 8-9 hour day. These sandals with velcro do not irritate, bind, or make my feet sore. I need velcro straps or my shoes, or shoes that stretch to adjust to my foot changes. my only wish is that the straps were just an inch or so longer. . .sometimes they slide out of the metal when i'm inserting my foot.

I like these sandals! Good shoes for someone who's on their feet on the job. The first day I wore them, I was on my feet for close to 6 hours. I totally forgot I was wearing new shoes. A nice soft sole that contains some arch support. The straps are soft, wide, and comfortable. The perfect sandal for me. I bought the black ones but I'll order the beige ones soon. I have wide feet, often wear wide width, and the M fit me perfectly.

Let's talk fit. I generally wear a size 7.5, maybe an 8 for say hiking boots. My feet are narrow and I have a high arch. In some brands of casual/athletic sandals, I wear a 7. The 37 Delray fit well both in the heel and across the top, but the toe box is a little short so the toes on my bigger foot ( a true 7.5) almost extended over the footbed. I exchanged the 37 for a 38, and with the broad adjustable straps the shoes still fit comfortablely, but I had a little more room in the toe box. So thank you, Zappos for your wonderful return policy. Now comfort. Very comfortable, right out of the box. Footbed is soft, yet the structure of the shoe feels very sound. The sole looks like it could conquer cobblestone streets and uneven surfaces with ease. As for stylishness, the Delray in my opinion is more stylish than many other "active" brands. Time will tell for how well these sandals will take a true walker's abuse!

Very comfortable shoes, but strap was to big for my ankle, otherwise very nice shoe.

The sandals are comfortable but the straps are a bit short. Now I have Velcro that is not covered by the straps and things stick to the exposed Velcro. Otherwise they are comfortable and nice looking for a support type of sandal.

I liked the design of the shoes, but they seemed very short and were not wide enough. I usually wear a 7.5 so ordered an 8 thinking this might help. now I know only to order a shoe that says wide. they seemed that they would be comfortable if they had fit correctly.

The most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. Super soft and cushy, like walking on marshmallows. Doesn't bind or rub anywhere. I'm a classic 8.5M and this fit like a dream. And my favorite thing is that it dresses up or down. I so wish it came in more colors; I'd have them all!

Comfort. Comfort. Comfort. I would not rate these shoes high on style, but I was looking for something to wear and traipse over India, which would also permit a thin sock. The sole seems sturdy and as if it will put up with a lot of gunk. I have put these right on and am wearing around the house, though they need no breaking in. The velcro works perfectly, reminding me of my more styling Teva sandals of yore.

This sandal was a puzzle in that it measures exactly the same footbed length as a current (size7.5) sandal that fits me perfectly, but the Delray allowed my big toe to overhang just a bit, which is not okay with me! I bought the 38 and I consistently wear a 7.5 medium width, though my feet are almost narrow enough for a narrow width. Wish I could have kept these because they were very cushioned and a cute, retro style. Not sure about ordering a 39 -- I've never worn a 39 in any kind of shoe and they may be too long.

Padding is absolutely heavenly. Ohhhh how I wanted these shoes to work. The combo size 9 1/2-10 seemed a little short (I wear 10).Could have lived with that but even though front is adjustable, for some reason still hurt my foot (even after making looser). Would recommend the shoe be made in leather instead of suede. Suede is more winter and is a sandal. Plus the black suede seemed to easily mark and attract lint. Again, the padding is absolutely wonderful. Personally, I also wish sandal makers would put black lining in black shoes. What shows (outside foot) Makes them look nicer and dressier.

I am trying to find a good walking sandal for a vacation. Upon trying these on, they seemed really comfortable, so I was tempted to keep them. But ultimately, I decided against it because they are just too wide for my feet. The medium is wider than it should be, and the straps only adjust, from their "normal" position, to be wider; you can't make them any tighter because the straps are sewn down. So I sent them back. I think these would be a really comfortable shoe if your foot was on the wide side.

I bought these because another customer said she put her own orthotics in them and I wanted to do the same. I think it might be possible, but the insoles are glued down, so I was unable to try that. Sending them back, the toe box was a little narrow for me even with the adjustment.

An ok not great sandal. Runs a bit large and wide. Fairly comfortable but does not have much arch support, so not the best choice for serious walking. Looks ok for a chunky sandal, but definitely not fashionable. The insole is removable so may be subject to improvement with an aftermarket insole with more arch support.

My foot is a 10.5 comfortably but since that size in women's shoes is mighty hard to find..sandals are the next best option. This size 10 sandal showed a great deal of shoe bed beyond the end of the big toe which makes it look funky. Additionally i have bunions and a very high arch. The adjustable strap over the toes was not quite flexible enough to adjust for a wide toe base and the arch support was no where sufficient to keep foot from pronating.

This sandal was very comfortable and I liked the retro look. I nearly kept them but found the toe straps were not secure enough and couldn't be tightened further. My toe area tended to slip to the side of the shoe.

I do like but too wide unfortunately.

These are so cute, but there is an extra piece of fabric under the toe strap that chafes. I tried to adjust them every which way without success. :-(
