These boots are fantastic! My son wears them all winter. They keep him warm without the puffiness of a lot of winter boots. He wears them in the mud in the spring and fall. They don't leak or make his feet too hot. I wouldn't suggest wearing them for long hikes. They are pretty heavy. For basic walks in the woods or running around outside, though, they're perfect. They cost more than I usually care to spend on kids boots that they'll outgrow in a year, but for the quality & versatility I think they're worth it. These are very sturdy boots - definitely something you could pass down through a few kids.

Unlike many reviewers, we live in a temperate climate (Maryland). Like everyone else, though, the quality of the boots have made them an indispensable part of our daughter's life. We originally splurged on them so she could go wading in creeks where there may be broken glass and other dangers under the water. "Wellies" and other water boots or shoes were too thin to protect her, but Bogs looked like they would do the trick. We soon discovered that they are amazing for all kinds of weather and purposes. She wears them year-round (looking sassy in mossy oak) and finds them comfortable whether the temps are high or low. Impeccable quality. We're sold on Bogs and will keep buying them. We love the fact that Bogs takes kids' safety and comfort seriously. Thanks, Bogs!

Grandson loves them, he is 5 and these are the 3rd pair he has had. He wears them all the time and everywhere, hunting, fishing, and playing in the yard. He just will not wear anything else.

I got a pair for each kid and they are awesome... They played in the mud, and the snow. Easy for them to take on and off... comfortable and warm! I'll be getting another pair of the next size up when they outgrow these.

I love BOGS! I bought these for my 9 year old son, after being sick of wet stinky boots and cold feet. We live in Wisconsin, so it gets pretty cold here and the weather is unpredictable. Ironically the boots fit me as well so I have also worn them but am going to buy a pair for myself as well. They keep his feet warm and dry. Easy to put on and take off! Seriously amazing. They are a little bit more expensive than boots you can buy at a Fleet farm or WalMart but they are worth every penny. If you are hesitating because of price, don't! They seem to be durable, comfortable and keep your feet warm and dry!

Great boots! I switched from the Sorel brand when they were lacking in quality. No longer made in Canada or boiled wool liner. Bogs are a great product and am loving them. I plan to buy myself some too. :)

Never before has my son had boots that allow him to be outside in the snow without having his toes get cold. Love them!

WELL I LIVE IN MINOT, ND AND THE PREVIOUS COMMENT STATING THAT THESE BOOTS ARE NOT "ND WARM" IS VERY INACCURATE, MY GUESS IS SHE IS ONE OF THOSE THAT THINKS NOBODY CAN MAKE STUFF THAT WILL HOLD UP TO OUR BRUTAL WINTERS!! MY SON HAS WORN THESE BOOTS FOR 3 YEARS AND ALWAYS COMES INSIDE COMPLAINING THAT HIS FEET ARE HOT! HE WILL WEAR THEM FROM THE START OF FALL ALL THE WAY UNTIL THE BEGINNING OF SUMMER! HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THESE BOOTS AND LIKE I SAID BEFORE, HE COMPLAINS THAT THEY ARE TOO WARM! LOVE THESE BOOTS!!!!

Just purchased our 2nd pair of Bogs for the boys.....They love them!! I love that my first son wore his Bogs for 2 years and they have now been passed down to our 2nd son - these boots are great and last a long time.

If my daughter agrees she will be wearing Bogs every year! so happy with these boots, we live at 8000k feet in elevation so we have lots of snow 8 months out of the year. My daughter was concerned that these would be stiff (like the rain boots) but once she put them on she was happy to report that they are "super comfortable" and "flexible" .. and now we can hardly get them off of her. She wears them not only as outdoor winter boots but also everyday / all day / everywhere. Highly recommended.

My daughter attends a school where the children go out to play in all kinds of weather. These boots are perfect for the rain and the snow. They are easy to put on and take off. There is a portion above the 'foot' part that is not waterproof, but it hasn't been a problem.

Work perfect for our farm family! We wear them year round in the snow, mud, manure. Versatile enough for the farm, but attractive enough for the kids to wear to school for recess. They keep our feet dry and warm. We tend to stick with dark colored shafts as the lighter colors are hard to clean and stain easy.

My wife and I have purchased LL Bean boots for our three sons multiple times. We really have appreciated thier winter boots. We have now given these a try and they seem to be a great all around boot. We haven't tried them in the winter snow yet but with the -30 degree temp rating I expect them to work well.

This is our second year for BOGS. I purchased two pairs last year for both my girls. They are super cute, comfortable, easy, and warm. My girls wear them to and from school, sledding, playing in the snow, and even when we travel during the winter. Our winters are long and cold and not once did the girls complain about their feet. The shipping was fast and accurate. I don't have a single complaint.

My 6 year old wears these every day at school as she is outside roaming the forest for two hours each morning. This is her third year in Bogs, and has never come home complaining of her feet being cold (in fact, she complains of her feet sometimes getting sweaty - especially when she's in thicker wool socks), nor has she ever had to change her socks due to them being wet. She drags her heels, but these boots hold up without a problem, even for multiple years. The purple Sweet Pea colors are so vivid and bright! An absolutely gorgeous color combo. Not too flashy, but not bland or dull - great for getting through those gray winter months. Regardless of print, I highly recommend these boots! Well worth the money. Thanks bogs!

My son asked me to buy these for him, after trying on his friend's pair. He hates fussing with getting boots on and off, so these are great for him. Easy on and off. We live in Nova Scotia and we have cold weather and wet weather during winter. He says his feet stayed warm all winter. I wasn't sure they would because I am used to LL Bean's winter boots, but he never complained. He plays outside every chance he gets, and he also never had wet feet. Normally, I would dry our kids' winter boots almost daily if they play outside, either liners or the boots themselves, on a boot dryer. With these, there was none of that. I think we bought them a tad big last year, although he never complained, because they fit again this year. They go well over pants, how he normally wears them, but he also had no problem with them with snow pants. My other child is not a fan of the fit - so I think it depends on the child. After a year of wear, our Bogs show no signs of wear - not on the boot or the sole. And he normally wears through shoes quickly.

I am a small adult have a small wide foot. These children's boots fit perfectly.

These are without a doubt the best boots ever!!! My son has the camo classic boots and wears them with a regular athletic sock in the dead of New England winters. He never gets cold or wet feet and could be out for hours!!! He can literally walk in the lake with these on and they don't leak!! He also has wide feet and the boot has enough "give" to accomodate that. Best boots ever!!!

I love these boots. Both by boys have been wearing them since they were 3. I buy 4 pair a year, one for school and one for home for each of them. They are great in rain, snow, mud, you name it! And they can still run around safely.

My grandson has worn through 2 pairs so I need to replace them once again!! He wears them through the mud, riding his dirt bike, to church, school ... He wears them with his shorts all summer!! These boots are rugged and pass the "rough kid" test! They do stink after a while but not the boots fault .... They are not off his feet long enough to dry out after getting wet!! I will be buying these as long as he will wear them:)

I bought these boots for a pleasure trip to Antarctica. We spent several hours hiking in the snow and on rocks. They kept our feet dry and warm the entire time. I also use them for watching my kids outdoor sports in sping and fall. Protects legs from the wind and if it is muddy, boots are very easy to clean.

These boots are well worth the money!! Perfect hunting and playing boots for little boys.
