Comfortable, fashionable & so, so warm! I love it.

Warm and comfortable. A little opening at thr bottom part to avoid rip while you sit down, it shape your body I love it. Well made, I recommend it.

Such a stylish jacket and warm too. Perfect for everyday wear and more.

Jacket is very warm and functional. I like how it can be changed up with removable hood and fur.

I recently moved to Chicago from the South and the first thing on my agenda was finding a perfect coat to combat the freezing winters. I have seen little snow in my life and never experienced harsh winds. This jacket has it all to keep me warm in the winter. The Black is very sleek and will last me years and years to come. I am thrilled with this purchase.

5’ 4” 120 pound size Small fit good. Just move from Kentucky to Colorado and prepare for this winter.

Fits perfectly. True to size. Very flattering, it doesn't actually make you look like a marshmallow! Very, very warm. I have not had trouble with the zipper as others have mentioned. All in all a beautiful and comfortable coat.

My quest started with trying to find a warm (down) jack WITHOUT a hood. Every single product available right now has a (frickin) hood! AND it's never detachable (grrrr!) SO - I decided to spend part of my 2020 bonus and order the Marmot Strollbridge jacket. It is awesome and I LOVE that I can detach the hood! I probably will never use the hood as I always carry a crossbody purse or messenger bag so now I will never get hung up on the darn hood when I try to take my purse off. I really wish a detachable hood AND a two way zipper was an affordable standard!! Maybe start new and be the first in 2021?

This jacket is the perfect down weight, really warm but not too hot when worn inside a store for example. I LOVE the magnetic placket. It’s a huge selling point for me. Snap placket are a PIA but this magnetic one is so easy I don’t even think about it. Stays shut for me, unlike one review I saw. Hood is big and isn’t adjustable — I found the same to be true with most comparable jackets. But it doesn’t spoil it for me. It’s a comfy jacket in every way — from the hidden fleece cuff to the fleece lined zipped pockets (which are plenty big for gloved hands). Very pleased with this purchase.

Love the color and fit. Others have said that they had trouble with the zipper. There is no problem as long as you start the duel zipper at the bottom.

I bought this coat as I live in Houston TX, but I have to travel to Madison, Wisconsin frequently, and some of those trip are in the winter. I bought the coat a size up to accommodate bulkier clothing underneath. The coat is well constructed, and I love that the hood is detachable. It's a keeper!

Fit is great and love the styling!

Really didn’t like the magnets on this coat. They served no purpose with the zipper and I found them annoying. Also the collar comes up too high like a turtleneck. Felt almost like I was being strangled but when you fold the collar down it resembles a look from the 70s. Returned in a heartbeat.

The fit was great and it seems true to size. The only thing is it was chemical smelling when I pulled it out of plastic packaging (I am sensitive to chemicals so my facial skin got irritated). I’m going to let it air out so we’ll see how it goes. Otherwise, I’m returning it. The magnetic buttons on coat are convenient (if that’s something that is important to you). I liked that it was form fitting but still had enough room to wear a sweater underneath.

The zipper is a little tricky and my previous much cheaper coat was warmer but it fits well and is expensive.

The large was too big everywhere except my waist. I thought the neck/hood was too cumbersome and the coat was just too heavy.

I would have given this jacket 5 stars but the hood is so large that when I put it on it just about covers my mouth so I can't see anything. Tried to cinch it but the cinch does not stay put, maybe there is a trick to this? Wore it in NYC during a -1 to 12 degree weekend and it kept me very warm including a couple of shirt layers. I actually could have used down leg warmers!

This coat is amazing! It's very soft has so many features! Fleece sleeve cuffs - removable hood - water resistant. It's definitely on the shorter side- so for anyone 5'3 and up it might JUST cover the bum.. it's fitted for me and I'm 5'3 135 - size 4 in women . ( * I gave this 4 stars since I wish it was a little warmer) it's 700 fill and I hate to say my 800/850 's are doing better this cold winter)

It is a nice jacket. I am a no-frills person, and am, therefore, not a fan of the fur trim. Fortunately, the fur zips right off. Without the fur, however, it would be nice if the brim of the hood was a few inches longer to keep the rain off my face. Also, the lining pills onto whatever I am wearing under the jacket.

It fits differently than the Strollbridge jacket I purchased previously in the same size. The sleeves are longer, the jacket is less roomy. The zipper remains difficult.

to large and very wide fit

I'm going to have to give this jacket 3 stars because it's a far lighter weight hence less warm than I thought it would be. I was looking for warmer, heavier jacket. It fits well, it looks lovely on, nice quality but doesn't really serve the purpose I meant it for. I bought a size M, I am 5'2", 129 lbs, 38-30-38 it is a snug fit, no room really for layers but a L I think would be too big, the arms and length too long. On me it is a few inches above my knees which is what I wanted. Not sure if I'm keeping it because while I like it very much I STILL need to find a super warm coat and this isn't it!

This jacket looks great. Unfortunately, that's the end of the story. For the price and the brand name, it really underperforms. I got a small and it fit well on a 5'2" body, 130 pounds. But it does not keep warm and needs really thick layers underneath. I can't believe it's 700-fill down! I was pretty surprised at the lack of warmth in this jacket and we're talking Seattle's cold (like upper 40s). I have had better luck with fashion brands that are half feather & half something else at keeping me warm with a thin layer underneath. The other big issue is the magnetic closure. They just don't work and you cannot keep the jacket closed without zipping it. What a futile idea! And, the zip is not easy to latch on, takes a bit of struggling initially. Once latched, it does go on smoothly, zip is plastic. For the price, I expected more from Marmot. I do like the pockets and the Claret color. I really wish this had worked out. Such a waste of money & what a disappointment. It's sitting in my closet, I've worn it probably thrice in 2 years! I would not recommend this jacket.
