My son is 6' 51/2" with arms that are 37" works in the city, but plays in the country and this jacket is light weight, comfort and warm with a reflective lining. There is enough room to wear a suit jacket or a hoodie under it, offering plenty of protection from the wind and elements. He has a 36" waist and a long torso and this jacket is generous in length. His brother, also tall, has had Columbia jackets and highly recommends them also he is a 2XT, and built like a linebacker.

I love the new coat with one exception. I wish it had a zipper that when zipped up would at the same time open from the bottom.

Im not sure what I loved more about this jacket! First, It is a bit large on me (5'9 plus size female) BUT still worked perfectly if not better because of the larger size. SO first this large jacket can be folded down and made a bit more compact if you are traveling with you, the removable layers and hood make it perfect for those weather questionable days and this jacket has the perfect amount of POCKETS! The size was only really large in the arms, but when walking in the snow they come down past my hands so really no need for gloves, and the pockets are lined with soft material that also helps keep them warm. Standing/walking in the snow i was the perfect temperature, sometimes if you're standing you're too cold and walking too hot but this jacket helps you (or just me) regulate to a preferable body temperature! Large enough to wear a sweater, or long sleeve and vest under with some wiggle room as well! I cant express how happy i am with this purchase and hope it stands the test of time! Wore this jacket in Snow (NJ), Rain (Ireland) and everyday wear (Prague, NJ, Ireland)

this jacket is lightweight so naturally I was concerned about how warm it would be....Ive gotta tell you this is one of the best jackets I have ever owned. Its warm, lightweight, fits true, and looks great. Im 6'4" and about 270 lbs and the XLT fits me perfect. I would say if your on the fence about this jacket, its well worth it!

Outstanding Product. Well constructed and Waterproof. Looks great. It is big-----but it is supposed to be cut big so you can do outside activities----hike, ski, etc. I have had a Bugaboo for 20+ years and I am finally retiring that coat....I expect my new jacket to give me years and years of use.

an excellent jacket, perfect for all weather, if you separate the parts you can use it with warmer weather and with both parts you can face colder climates

This coat is great! Very lite weight and perfect for packing and taking on a trip. It's super lite but still incredibly warm. I'm ordering another on for my husband.

I am a recent transplant to MA. I wanted a jacket that was long enough to come down past my waist, warm, and waterproof. This jacket provides all of these things! I do wish the sleeves had adjustable velcro instead of the two snap option, but that is just a minor issue. I have worn the inner jacket by itself, and it is very comfortable on days when it is cool, but not bitter cold.

The only issue I have with this coat is the adjustment for the wrists does not tighten enough. Not a deal breaker because thei is a warm light comfortable coat.

I have never before owned a Columbia because I could never find my size 3-4XT. Now that I own a few I am very happy. I live in NYC and over the last few storms 2015 some of the coldest days ever minus at some days, I did not feel at any time cold. At the same time, I did not feel a bit heavier. Still light and warm. I am going to clean out my closet Columbia Rocks!!!

This is an incredibly nice and warm jacket. I was looking for something very warm to wear to work at the Bank. I got the package and was alarmed at the lack of insulation bulk. The shell material looks dressy but is very tough, has rip stop construction when you look closely. I tried it outside...this jacket is really warm!!! I have worn it two days in 0-6 breezy weather, with just a dress shirt underneath, it is not just adequate, it is toasty!!!! Warmer than many down parkas I have had! Thanks, excellent jacket!!!!

I recently purchased this jacket as a replacement for the Lohtse II jacket I purchased last fall. The shell is of a heavier material that I hope will stand up to the kind of winters we experience here in Michigan. It is a well-fitting jacket, if a little bit on the large size, but that isn't an issue because it lends itself more readily to layering. The pockets appear to be spacious, the length means I should have few concerns about bending and squatting while clearing snow or recreating, and the Omni-tech should keep me dry and break up the winter winds. It appears that it will be warm enough, yet the Omni-heat liner prevents it from being too bulky. First impressions are good. I will try to give a follow-up review after I have had the chance to put it to the test in winter conditions.

I live in the Puget Sound area. We're entering our rainy/cold season. I like that the shell is waterproof. The inside jacket is incredibly warm but does create a lot of static electricity. The jacket does seem to fit large. Based on my body measurements I started with a 4X, then a 3XLT, and settled on a 2X. Returns were super easy and very fair.

I'm a tall thin person. I need LT to fit my arms. The coat itself has great quality, but I wish it were slimmer to fit my stomach and waist better.

This is a great jacket but moderately insulated. I thought I had to trade up to higher insulation for a trip to Iceland. But, I feel now that water and wind protection is more important here with the right layers. Website could help more with jacket selection for the climate you are intending it's use.

I wanted a jacket that delivered the quality and functionality of the Columbia interchange. Yet I was looking for something more classy than sporty. This coat delivers. It is a bit large on the sleeve length. I ordered a LT and I wear 36-37 sleeve length shirts. Yet the cuffs hang down to my palms. The cuff adjustment strap only has 2 positions rather than a velcro strap. The smaller setting really does nothing to stop the sleeves from slipping down over your hands. My only other knock on this coat is that there is no drawstring at the bottom of the coat, so it can be a bit drafty. Overall though it's better than my previous coat so I'll hang onto it.

The Horizons Pine Interchange Jacket is very well made and fits wonderfully. I love the button snaps to hold the jacket together when a zipper is too much. My one minor issue is that it is not as heavy a jacket as I had hoped; when the weather turns more winter-like, I am not certain if it will be warm enough. I can always wear more layers under it. The outer material beads up water. The inner lining does seem to reflect and retain body heat. Plenty of pockets, all with zips or metal snaps. Overall, I am very happy with my choice.

The only down side is the button-on hood allows wind in under certain circumstances. Otherwise, it's awesome!

Bought this to replace another Columbia coat that was falling apart after years of wearing it. Only complaint was I ordered the same size as my old one and it was a lot bigger and the longer sleeves get in the way a little bit, otherwise very happy with it.

I purchased this jacket for a warm, lightweight winter jacket. This is the first winter I've had it and so far it has performed well, although our coldest days are yet to come. What I really like is that it doesn't weigh me down and I never feel too warm with it on. What I don't like is the small hood. It doesn't block wind, rain or snow coming from the sides. It also isn't lined which to me, makes it not very good for cold weather. Maybe if it was larger and had the Omni-heat liner in it it would be a stellar performer. Just a little food for thought Columbia. Otherwise it's a great product.

Had to exchange the 3x because it hung off of me, and I'm a little round. Otherwise, roomy, warm and has numerous pockets. A nice jacket.
