I had high hopes for these shoes, they are super cute, true to size and comfortable although I wish the cushion inside was a little softer. But there are little pieces of glue all over the shoe which makes me question the quality (especially considering the price) because of that i'm returning them. I'm actually suprised they passed quality control. Oh well. I included 2 photos but it's more than that.

Too wide and felt as though there was not much in the way of arch support. Love this style and color.

I have been wearing Keens for years and buy them for the arch support and style. While these are cute boots they feel flat absolutely no arch support. Very disappointed! Otherwise they fit and look great but I refuse to buy orthopedic inserts when I am used to doing without while wearing Keens

Very cute for this type of boot, nice and wide for wide feet but very short and according to this shoe I would wear a women's 12 which they don't make and that is not close to my size. Disappointed!

Well I have been searching for a warm casual comforable winter boot for several years. I had high hopes for these though I have never been able to wear Keens. I love a snub nose shoe because I can be sure of ample toe room. I tried these on in a store before ordering and thought I could wear my regular size of 7 1/2. I normally buy an 8 in a boot due to thick socks. In the end the 7 1/2 was too small with wool socks and the 8 was too big. I never tried them for warmth. The height of the ankle was a bit uncomfortable so I guess that helps me in the future. The insoles were not very padded. I loved the look and color. The 7 1/2 had a terrible snag spot in one of the eyelets so they would have needed exchange if they had fit. I was sorry to have to return the boots and return to my search. Thanks to Zappos for great customer support.

These are generously sized, which can be nice if you want to wear heavy socks in them and still be comfortable (which I did want). Unfortunately, I wore them with wool socks around the house, and I expected my feet to get hot since they're advertised as warm to negative temperatures. Well, my feet never got hot; they were like regular shoes. Not good! I have to return them. It's too bad, because they're great looking boots.

I really wanted to keep this shoe. The fit was great and it was comfortable and warm. I had a very difficult time getting into the boot however. I need a boot that I can slide into while standing. I had to be seated and still struggled to get me foot situated. Once that was accomplished, the fit was great.

These are great shoes - if you're lucky enough to receive a perfect pair. They're wide and comfortable. Great support. The bumper toe is fantastic. Keens wear well. Unfortunately Keen's quality control is not stellar. I always send for two pair of whatever boot or shoe I order from Zappos in the hope of getting at least one pair that's perfect. I ordered two pair of this Kaci boot. I received four boots naturally, but only one was perfect. It was a left boot. The leather of both the right boots was, for lack of a better word, scrunchy and wrinkled, particularly on the tongues. Left boot - great, smooth leather. Right boot, wrinkled near the ankle and very, very wrinkled on the tongue. I loved these boots but they're going back as many of my recent shoes from Keen's have done. Not Zappos fault. This is on Keen. I do wish though that Zappos would be a bit more particular about shipping out shoes that have clearly been tried on. I wish they would offer you the option to make a request when you order. I would lrequest a brand new smooth pair of boots because I'm particular about my shoes and don't want to have to order three or four pair in order to receive one brand new boots in untried on condition. Shoes look and wear better when you can bend them to suit your own foot instead of having then come pre-creased. I have included pics. This is how an unused Keen boot came out of the box. It looks like it's been worn but it hasn't been.

I got these in my search for wide shoes that wouldn't squeeze my bunion. They are ok, but my foot is still not totally happy. So far the best I have found as far as comfort (not style) are my Aultras

I have the Keen Targhee and they fit well so I was hoping this boot would fit the same. I chose it because I wanted something that didn't call too much attention to its utilitarian quality, in all black that could be worn in the city. This did not fit my skinny feet like the Targhee style--my foot felt like it was sloshing around and the heel slipped (I have narrow heels but need a wide toe box). I've found it's very hard to find a comfortable walking shoe or boot in all black that you can walk for miles in an urban environment as well as the trail. I think shoe designers are missing out on a huge market of older women who like to walk and need comfort first but don't want garish crazy colors.

Somehow, from the pictures I didn't think these would look like hiking boots, but they do. I also thought they'd be a bit less clunky looking, but I was wrong. They fit fine, but do not have internal material that suggests they'll be warm. However I did not try them in the cold, so I can't say for sure. They look like "city hiking boots," ie, not technical enough or enough tread for a good hiking boot. I have other Keens, including great hiking boots. I know they are clunky looking, but I like the brand b/c their shoes are generally wide for my duck feet. Still, I thought these looked too clunky and they weren't comfy enough. Returned.

Terrific shoe! Runs a tad large. VERY comfortable with heavy socks and warm for winter. I have them in black. The color shown for Stormy turbulence, however, looked olive green and it is actually grey which I don't want so unfortunately have to return them.

These are definitely well-made shoes. I wish I could get a half size smaller but 10.5 isn't an option; I went with 11. My heel slips so I'll have to double up on socks. They are quite wide. Arch support is minimal; these will require an insert. If I'd spent more time trying these out indoors I would have returned for something a bit narrower, but it was snowing and my old boots were leaking.

Very comfortable but they make my feet look like duck feet.

I loved the boot but it was big even though I ordered my correct size. The part of the boot that goes over the ankle and up the leg was so wide, if I ever walked in snow, my feet would be covered in snow. I loved the boots, loved the color, just the sizing was so off. I may order the smaller size, but again, its the width that is more the problem.

I have been a Keen fan for a decade. The problem is that now, all my favorite Keens - Hikers, tennis shoes, boots and clogs are all about 5 years old or more. ALL THEIR NEW SHOES FIT TERRIBLY! After getting a hiking shoe recently that was the same size as my existing shoes and finding that the toe box was narrow and hit my pinky toe, I returned them. I decided to try these boots and hope for the best. These were the same size as the hiking shoes I returned for being too small, but these were huge. VERY WIDE, and even the heel was too big. I had to check to see if I had received the wrong size, but nope - 9, just like every other pair of Keens I have owned. Whoever is running the sizing department at Keen has seriously destroyed my love of the brand. I don't even know what brand I should try, because this has been my go-to, but this has been such a disappointment. BOO, Keen. Boo.

I have a moderately wide foot, and this boot was extremely too wide for me.

Not typical for Keen. The footbed has little support and cushion and they were too wide compare with the many other Keen shoes that I own and love.

I wanted to love these based on the reviews, unfortunately they didn’t work for me. They were wider and more bulky than I expected. The color was also darker than the image showed. I’ll be sending them back:(

So much to like about this little boot. Lots and lots of toe room, nice and supportive and quite cute for a waterproof lace up boot. They are nice and light too, so I very much wanted to keep them. The deal breaker was that the heel is about a quarter inch too low for me. The other Keen boots I ordered have a better heel to sole ratio and that's much better for walking, and for my knees in general. I'm sad to return them, but I have kept the taller lace up Keen, which is a more serious winter boot with a much better heel. The Kaci would be a perfect winter rainy day dog walking boot, but I just can't make it work with that low heel. I wish someone would make a boot like this with a 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch heel.

I did not keep these boots. I love Keen and usually love the fit and style but something about this boot was not for me. The footbed felt super wide but the ankle felt super tight. It was like putting on an inflexible ski boot. Possibly if I had broken them in over the course of months they would have been ok, but right out of the box I hated them so much I returned them. Disappointed! But thanks to Zappos for making returns easy :)

I wanted to like them but they have a weird seam in the center back of the heel that hurt the minute I stood up and I know would rub and cause a blister. If I doubled up on socks and wore a bandaid I might be ok but that's too much effort when there are so many other boots on the market. Keen sizing has gotten more and more skewed so you will need smaller than you think. I'm usually a 6 1/2 (sometimes a 6, sometimes 7) but I order Keens in a 5 1/2!

Cute shoe. It fits small and it took me too long to realize it before I could return it. Otherwise a good shoe.

So jealous of everyone who loved these boots! The pair of Keen Kacis I received had a difference in the width between the left and right boot that made them unwearable. The left boot felt great, just like the other Keen boots I own, but the right curved in just enough at the section between the ball and the heel that it felt like I was standing on the ridge of the sole instead of having my foot comfortably cupped inside it! Yes, I know that most people's feet (including mine) don't exactly match, but the difference in my case is that my left foot is a smidge larger, so not the problem here. I returned the boots but am at a loss as to what to order instead! I have noticed a growing lack of quality control in several of the formerly "good" brands I've ordered from Zappos. I don't want to abuse Zappo's generous free shipping and return policy, but I'm about ready to order half a dozen pairs to see if I can come up with a single pair that works!
