These boots work well for me. I am a fat person and have a hard time finding good boots that fit and are stylish. I ordered these in a 10 and had to return them for a half size up. The 10.5 fits great. Zipping them up is a bit dicey for my meaty calves, but I was able to do it. They fit super well, look amazing, and I wore them all evening with no pain or problems. There is also a good amount of space in the toe box so my feet don’t feel cramped (and give me PF flare ups). Highly recommend!

I have been on a search for flat boots that won’t squish my toes that are tall and wide enough for my “athletic” calves. These fit the bill completely! I have worn them constantly, despite them being a little big. I plan to order the black ones a half size down. I typically wear 8.5-9 and the 9 is a little too big. I wear them with thick socks. I have worn them to work with leggings and skirts, walked all over with them, and worn them in the rain. So worth the money! Looking forward to getting the black ones.

Love these boots. The leather is nice and soft. I ordered a half size up and I should have ordered my usual size. The heel was too big and my foot slipped. I think my usual size will fit better, I am returning them for my usual size.

I think I am on my 4th or 5th pair of this brand of boots! They don't need any break in & with most shoes, I want to kick them off at the end of the day and go for my slippers but sometimes I will still find myself at the computer @ 10:00 at night still wearing my boots, they are that comfortable! I was initially disappointed with the design change, the loss of the buckle & the fabric in the back as opposed to the all leather look but so far so good! I hope the fabric doesn't stretch out too much, because that will determine the purchase of my next pair but so far, so good!

Nice boots but unfortunately, the shaft circumference is MUCH smaller in a size 5 than stated in the description. My actual calves are 14.5 inches but the boot was much much smaller than that. I would have loved to keep them but I can't zip them up so they'll have to go back.

Keen always makes a good product, however, this boot just did not fit right. The heel is very roomy while the mid-section and toe box are narrower than expected. I have relatively narrow feet but like a wider toe box due to foot injuries and this boot squeeze my toes. On the other end, I kept slipping out of the heel most uncomfortably. The wide shaft is true to size. Overall, the boot is a good shoe but the heel and ankle structure was lacking.

I was really looking forward to wearing these boots, but my calf is way to big to get the zipper all the way up (only went up 2/3 of the way). Will be looking for another pair to replace this order.

In general I love KEEN boots - I've had many pairs as I like the wide comfort. The Bern boot is GREAT! Unless you want to put it away for a single winter. Apparently if not worn frequently the sole dries out and falls off. Which is what happened to me after 2 days of wear in the second winter. This is mentioned as an aside on the Keen website, with instructions for a temporary fix with glue as a best solution. This is ridiculous. Especially at the price!
