I am very happy with this tote bag. It is even prettier in person. Herschel products are very well made. You definitely get what you pay for. It has a full zipper closure with a nice leather zipper pull. So many tote bags are open at the top and you have no way to secure what you are carrying. I got this to take on an international trip. It is large enough I can put a travel blanket, my purse and other items inside, yet it will still fit under the seat on the airplane. The material is also waterproof so I do not have to worry about ruining it sitting it down.

It was huge and the bottom didn’t have any structure so when I put my books in it they looked like they were going to fall out the bottom of the bag.

This is a fun bag. The black is more like a really faded black, more like slate grey. If I had known that I might have gone for the olive instead. The canvas is pretty soft - not stiff - like it’s already broken in. The biggest problem to me is that the straps are a little too long. I like my tote bags to have straps be such that the main portion of the bag can be kind of held to my side with my elbows without the straps falling off my shoulder. I’m tall and have a long torso so I was surprised that the tote didn’t “fit” me that well. I will definitely look at strap length for future tote bag purchases. I think I’ll keep it because the size is really good.

The fabric on this is great. I love the color too. However this is more tote bag than purse. It is huge...you might pack for a weekend in it. In my head (probably wrongfully so) I thought it was a nice tote purse. They need to make this in XXXS.

Perfect size for work (water bottle, wallet, binder etc), super cute too!

Perfect size for me. I purchased this bag as a carry on, diaper bag and purse all in one. I didn’t want a bag that I couldn’t carry daily and I looked for an entire month! This price range was perfect also! I can place my mid size purse inside, a few diapers and a pack of wipes. Change of clothes and a snack also. Remembering that my purse inside of this bag carries all of my needs as a woman and it’s all together, This bag does not sit up on its own but it has a zipper! The quality is a durable one. Not hard but not soft. I do wish I had gotten the solid color but flowers ? are just as pretty.

Don’t know why I hadn’t bought this bag sooner! It’s the perfect casual work bag, fits my laptop and everything else and then some. Love love love!

Amazing bag. This is my second Herschel bag. The photo makes the bag look tall and slim, however it’s actually shorter and wide. I prefer taller as my last one was that style, but this one is nice also. There are two small pockets on the inside. One I keep my pens in and the other my car key. I would have liked another large pocket to place my laptop in its own space, but this bag is roomy enough to fit everything. It’s well made and doesn’t feel heavy, even with all of my work supplies inside. I would definitely recommend this bag.
