Typical Keen perfection. Love Keen's, especially the Austin series. These are water proof so I'll have to wait to see how they hold up, but I expect they will hold up like the last seven pairs of Keen's I've ordered. Only one problem with Keen's, you can never match the shoe laces, even if you order them from Keen.

My husband had the old Keen shoes like these, & wore them for 12 years until they gave out. He was so thrilled when I got these for him! He says they fit just right, aren’t too warm (some super insulated boots feel too warm to him), & broke in with no problems. Plus they are super water-resistant, & give great traction on wet pavement. So happy with these, & with the amazing delivery time from Zappos!

This was my seventh pair of Keen Austin style shoes, but the first Mid WP Boot. The footbed feels exactly like the typical Austin style in that it is indeed very comfortable. The leather and sole look just like the standard Austin style. As happens often with Keen Shoes, the shoelaces were too short for easy tying so I replaced them immediately with 60" shoelaces. Out of all the Keen Shoes I have purchased over the years, the Austin is by far my favorite. It is a very casual style and above all else, comfortable. I typically have order a size 12 but for the boot style I ordered a size 13 which fit great. I'm not sure if that approach would have been appropriate in smaller sizes.

I am sad to say that I am returning these after a brief walk inside the house. I love my Keen Austin shoes, but the boot version seems different. Like others have said, this runs wide, even for a Keen. Additionally, I found the footbed was not well supported/padded towards the ball of the foot. I am still, however, a fan of the Keen brand, just not these.

This shoe is wide. I ordered D width and my feet just sloshed around in this shoe. Also about a half size larger in length. Heel width terribly wide and not the same confort in design as the Targhee. Amazing how same company can make two models of shoes so different in sizing for the same year model. I'm keeping the Targhee Exp shoes that seem to fit much better and are truer in size. I really wanted the Austins, with their slip resistant sole to work but as is I won't be ordering another pair of Austins. RETURN!
