My 18 month old has such a hard time fitting in shoes because his foot is wide (it's more talk than wide, so getting it into a shoe is the issue). The Velcro allows these to open up enough to get on his foot easily and then secures snuggly. We get lots of compliments on them. He doesn't have any issue walking in them either

These are so perfect for my 21 month old son to run around in! They're easy to take on and off, too. I love the laces that are permanently tied (shoes velcro on and off). These are our 2nd pair of these because we outgrew the last ones. A favorite for us!

I was not incentivized to write this review- my 3 yr old has worn these for over a year and a half now and they still are in great condition. They are great quality, stylish, and comfortable. They have been his favorite shoes and look cute with nearly everything. We will be buying again when he finally outgrows!

We purchased these for our 2 y/o son who has very wide feet. These fit perfect and the neutral color match most of the clothes in his wardrobe. He is rough on shoes but these Sperry's have held up nicely. The velcro closure is a nice touch.

He wears them to church and they look okay for his WIDE feet, but we can’t Velcro them all the way shut, even on my youngest sons which doesn’t have wide feet. They are a classic and great look.

The shoes are cute as can be, but size up! My 2 year old has chunky wide feet and is a size 7 in most shoes currently. I was in search of a "wide" shoe, and I had to size up to an 8 wide for it to fit properly. We use them for church and they complete many outfits!

My son has been wearing Sperry Top-siders for a few years now and for some reason, their wide widths seem to be more narrow in the larger sizes than in the smaller. The specific area of trouble is not in the toe box but in the area of the heel near the arch. I love the durability of Sperry shoes but we are going to have to try another brand this year for school.
