5'3, 125lbs with athletic thighs. A Small fits perfectly. I am usually an XS in Patagonia for reference.
I waited to review these bibs until I had used them enough and they have passed the test! From snow machining to ski touring to deep pow these bibs are amazing! Lightweight, excellent venting and the drop seat feature is easy and non cumbersome. They are wind-blocking and waterproof but they are not warm so I've had to adjust my layering system a little. A pair of warm fleece pants over tights has been doing the trick. The small has enough room for me to do this. They kept deep snow out of my pants in Japan and the suspenders stayed put. I hardly notice anything about these pants when I'm wearing them which is how quality clothes should feel! I've been impressed with the durability while snow machining and bushwhacking in Alaska. They have yet to tear! My last (and favorite) feature are the massive thigh pockets. I've switched to storing my beacon there and the pocket is big enough that I don't feel it and high enough on my thigh that it doesn't hit my knees (a problem I had with Flylow bibs). The other pocket fits my phone, snacks and neck gaiter without constriction. Whiskey Jack color is more dark grey than purple which I like. Get these bibs!!!

I have purchased Arcteryx for years and have been very happy with the quality, functionality and look. That said, I have become extremely frustrated in their lack of consideration for petites. Women with short inseams are a large part of the population. Why do you continue to ignore us?
I bought these pants with the remote hope that they could be altered. There is no way this can be done. At this price point it is absurd that I have to think of doing this.
I have seen a few comments over the years from petites but I hope this encourages others to speak out.

I like this pair of pants because it is waterproof and windproof. It keeps me dry and warm.
If it fits better, it will look better.

I love this ski pant, I use it for both touring and in resort skiing. It is very lightweight, so I can regulate how warm I want to be with layers underneath. It is definitely worth the money. Also a fan of the colors.

Excellent ski pants, suitable for both the backcountry and the resort. The fabric is soft and comfortable while still being fully weatherproof and seems durable. My first day in these was a rainy spring skiing day at the resort and they kept me completely dry, even sitting on wet chairlifts. The deep pockets provide lots of space for snacks or gear, and the stretchy bib is never restricting.
They have a flattering fit that looks great - they're slim without being tight and there's enough room for layers. I'm 167 cm tall and weigh 60 kg and a Small fits me perfectly in size and length. The Black Sapphire color is beautiful, it's a very dark blue/indigo that goes with anything. They're lightweight and versatile enough to be used for rainy hikes or cross country skiing too. Would definitely recommend.

These are the most comfortable bibs I have ever worn, thanks to the C-Knit backer on them. The addition of some nice big pockets on the front and the high rise are great. They are a smidge shorter than I might like but once the boots are on it's not an issue. You can easily layer underneath them for super cold days or rock them sans baselayers when it's hot and pop the zippers for ventilation. I also wore them ice climbing and they performed very well, with enough flexibility in the leg to make those wide stances and high feet work!

These pants are awesome. They fit well and the stretch in the bib allows for movement. The Black Sapphire II is a beautiful color as well. Excellent work Arcteryx!

These could be the best ski pants on the market. They are so comfortable I don't want to take them off. I wear them every chance I get. I love how they fit and they are very breathable. The stretch fabric of the bib is a game changer. It allows you so much freedom to move.
I sometimes have trouble finding women's ski bibs because the suspenders are not long enough. I am 6ft 170 pounds and these pants have lots of adjustment in the suspenders with room to spare. I bought size XL and usually wear the Axina knickers underneath which keeps you very warm and protected. If you are looking for the most comfortable ski pants on the market look no further

Love the fit! I feel so mobile in these ski pants! They are super lightweight and breathable. The venting is awesome and its super easy to pee in these pants without taking them off (huge bonus!). The front pockets are perfect!!! I just wish the suspenders were completely removable.

Wow! Finally a ski touring pant that fits well, looks great but is extremely technical. This pant is my new favourite. It's got great breathability on the climbs and feels light and flexible when moving and bending. You won't be disappointed!

These are my all-time favourite touring pants. They're lightweight and super comfortable, but can be counted on to keep you warm and dry out there. The bib section is made from a softshell fabric that is stretchy and comfortable, keeps the snow out without feeling restrictive. The big side vents and 2 huge thigh pockets come in super handy. The straps are also some of the only bib straps I've found that consistently stay up. These have replaced all the other ski pants in my closet - I chose these for every day of touring last winter.

I've spent years searching for the right women's ski touring pant. A well fitting bib pant, accessible pockets and lightweight. These pants nailed it!
They are a regular fitting pant, a bit on the trim side and very flattering. The softshell bib adds comfort and a pocket for storing. The pants are quiet/breathable when touring and have the venting option if you need a major heat drop.
AND you'll look great apresing:)

Great quality pants and love the two large thigh pockets.
However at 5' 2" 110lbs, the size XS is way too long - a lot of extra material bunching at the knees, even with boots on.
Really hoping Arc'teryx will come out with a Short inseam length for these!

Thank you Arc'teryx for finally designing a women's bib, specifically for backountry skiing!
However, like other reviewers below noted, these are extremely long even in size XS for someone measuring 5'3''.
Why not take a cue from brands like Rab, which offer pants in different lengths?
Otherwise, this bib boasts a beautiful stretchy and light waterproof material and a very functional design. I would have loved to fit in these!
This bib would be even better if :
- the side zips came all the way down ;
- there were a "butt zip" for when nature calls... ;
- they came in shorter length.

Most comfy & functional pant I ever owned! Incredible lightweight, wind- and waterproof, but at the same time breathable, zippers allow good ventilation. The fabric is very nice and soft, you'll never feel restricted wearing this pant. Perfect companion for all adventures in the snow.
Cons: price and fit, which is not really baggy but somehow undefined. Still the numerous pros overweigh the cons by far.
With these little details the pants could be absolutely perfect:
- longer zippers reaching under the knee (don't want to show off my butt so much during ventilation, especially when wearing it in spring without a layer underneath)
- hook for hanging up the pant for drying
- pockets just a little bit higher so the mobile doesn't touch your knee with every step
- better fit especially in the area around the knee (wrinkles)
