I find that it's best to go with a size LARGER than you regularly wear. Otherwise, Wrightsox can feel a bit tight. They feel WONDERFUL if you get a roomier size. I have thru-hiked the entire Pacific Crest Trail twice (2005 and 2010) and the entire Continental Divide Trail (2016). I wore Wrightsox as my "inner layer", with Thorlo walking socks as the outer layer. NO blisters (partly due to training with WEIGHT and partly due to the Wrightsox/Thorlo layering) and my feet felt very comfortable. The Wrightsox lasted for the entire 2,600-3,000 miles on each hike (the Thorlos did not fare as well--they wore out and had to be replaced). I prefer the khaki color because it does not show dirt! And I prefer the quartersox because the extra height helps keep grit off my feet (I wear running shoes to hike, not boots), and protects my ankles from the inevitable bumps & bruises of the trail.

Got these on sale to see how they compared against Balega. Pleased to say that thenare every bit as good! If your a sock snob like me, give these a try and you won’t regret it. I run 50 or more miles per week.

I got these for my daughter who runs cross country. I’ve always gotten her whatever was on sale (you know - cotton Hanes or Fruit of the Loom). She had said that her sneakers felt like they were rubbing and so we gave these a shot since it was less than buying a new pair of sneakers. These did the trick!! No more rubbing and, these have the added bonus that the fabric wicks the moisture away from her feet so they aren’t as smelly.

The khaki color was great. I prefer neutral-colored socks. The arch support is refreshing. The size, however, runs VERY SMALL. I wear a woman's 6, but I bought medium 6.6-9 to allow more toe room. They were crushing! I exchanged for LARGE 9.5-11, but still the the toe area was too narrow and forced my toes inward and under. I liked the compression of the foot area, but the wide cuff should have been less so. It dug into my leg above the ankle. Included is a picture of the medium 6.5-9 sock next to a side 6 shoe. The sock should have been much larger. Until Wrightsock corrects the sizes, I cannot in good faith recommend them to others. -E

I ordered what I thought was a duplicate of my favorite 1 year old wrightsocks. This new model ( one sock pictured on right/ bottom of photo) has a thick seam across the toe bed that dug into my outer toes. My feet were sorely irritated on my 5 mile hike . I kept having to stop and rearrange the sock placement to keep the seams from digging in. I returned as defective.

My fourth pair of these socks (in a different color). I wear a size 8.5/39 in a women's shoe, and the medium-sock size fits fine. I love the soft fabric, feels good on my foot. No blisters, either. I machine wash and hang to dry. Would recommend to a friend.

These are my favorite summertime socks. I like them a bit higher so rocks don't land in my socks. These are so soft and I love the bright colors.

correct size ordered and delivered, but when washed they shrank that my wife couldn't wear them. If you want one time use, buy these....

There is a hole in the toe of one of the socks and the socks appear to be smaller than the size I ordered.

I just love Wright socks. They have a soft inner liner and they have never given me problems. I have this style and sneaker style (with a tab) and several pairs of their hiking socks. I have never gotten a blister with them and because they fit so well, wear so well, etc I have ordered multiples of several styles. Only caveat, is that they maintain their softness inside and out much better if you don't throw them in the dryer. Not a big deal to hang them to dry, but for some this may be too much of an effort.

I was skeptical in that I thought they would be super hot to wear. I don't find them hot and they're extremely comfortable after about a week. So far it's a recommend.

These are very comfortable. I happen to be at the low end of a size range (9 or 9.5 shoe) so I ordered large, and they fit quite nicely. I’m not completely enamored of the quarter sock style, but these are otherwise great, light but not too light—really fine for any season but winter as far as I’m concerned. My ankles are on the thick side and these are a tiny bit more snug than I like, but not uncomfortably so. I’m hoping they stretch out the millimeter or two that would make them absolutely perfect. In any case, I ordered more, because they really do make my feet happy.

Perfect fit

True to size. Very soft knit. Just the right amount of cushioning. I'd say these would be good to wear in all seasons.

Let me start by saying that I hate socks. I am much happier barefoot - in sneakers, hiking boots, etc. And yes, I do wash my sneakers and change the insoles in both pretty regularly :) That said, can I give these six stars? They are the best socks I've ever worn. I took them for a couple of mile test drive in brand new hiking shoes in 80 degree California sun. No blisters, as advertised, and they weren't beastly hot and wet by the time I returned. Cute color, perfect fit on size 6 feet.

My favorite socks since I bought. Have an inner lining of soft cotton which is so comfortable, but also cool enough for hot days.

Was looking for thinner socks but still protection and moisture control (my feet are always hot)--these are perfect. I wear a women's size 8 and these fit nicely. The height is perfect as well--they stay in place and don't ride down your heel. Like that there is a good color selection.

Fit my size 11 feet well and are staying up! I would also love an even thinner model for hot weather, but these are great!

These socks are extremely comfortable and I finally found a pair of socks that fit me perfectly. I wear a size 6 shoe but all the socks that I have purchased in the past have always been too large. These socks are just right, I can walk in them all day with no blisters or chafing. Living in Las Vegas, our temperature hit 108 degrees and the sock did not really keep my feet cool but after removing the socks and letting them air out, the socks had no odor and if necessary one could use the socks again the next day. I've also hand washed them and they were dry by the next morning. They are a bit expensive but if comfort is your priority, give these brand a try.

Really bright colors which is great for night. Almost forgot I was wearing socks as they fit so well!

These are the best running socks. Thin and two layers prevent rubbing hot spots and blisters. Glad to see Zappos carrying these as thy are getting harder to find. I size up for maximum effect

Awesome socks. Perfect weight, last forever. 2 layers so they are super comfy, but they never bunch up.
