This fleece is super cozy, stretchy, and WARM. I easily wore it on its own in -3 celsius without feeling cold at all. I can't decide if it fits small or large - I'm usually a L or XL but the L was a bit snug and the XL is the slightest bit too big (I went with XL).

Wow normally I have a hard time finding jackets/fleece that fit my shoulders. I am 5'2" 125 lb 37" chest, 28"waist, 31" low hip, 36" seat. The medium fits my shoulders perfectly! There is so much stretch its unreal!. The cut is perfeect for layering under a midlayer or shell but also looks good as a casual hoody. Only con is that the zipper doesnt lock

Bought this as a midlayer piece to ski and for casual use. Love everything about the jacket. It's the perfect midlayer in my kit. Not too hot, not too cold, great for those snowy days where you need the extra warmth but not bulk. The large was a bit too trim on me so I got the x large but it's a little on the loose side for a trim fit. Still love the hoody and wear it all the time.

This is my first time purchasing a product from this company. I have many other pieces for hiking and cold weather. I LOVE this jacket. I look forward to purchasing this gear in the future.

Only had this for a week, but so far I love it. I might have given it a 5 star, but reading the other reviews I am anticipating a zipper problem in the future. :/ I love that the hoody snugs the head and zippers up and over the neck. It feels very snug and warm all around. I hope this comes in other colours in the future.

Great fit and nice change to the hood profile. Bought and returned the dark teal colour: love this sweater and have 2 I swear by, but this newest version has reinforced pockets. Great for protecting the pockets, pain in the butt to open - you need to hold the material with one hand and open with the other. Not super practical so returned it. If you're not fussed about this, highly recommend the sweater.

Beautiful colour and good fabric But the cut is too short and too wide. Shame Arc'teryx doesn't offer offer a long version for tall women

Received my 3rd Kyanite hoody for Xmas. I bought my first one in 2019 to wear while hiking the Camino de Santiago. I fell in love with this jacket and bought an additional one a few years ago. Both super high quality, comfortable and with a perfect hood. The one I just received seems much thinner and not as high quality. I wear the original two constantly, but not thrilled with the new one.

I bought this hoody as I was looking for something very warm and stretchy for hiking and trekking. I have it over 2 years and I am using it ~1-2 times a month. During the first year it was all perfect. But after two years the quality of the product dropped a lot.

I bought this last year, but gave it away after the zipper drove me crazy. If it isn't zipped all the way up to your chin, it quickly slides down and completely unzips itself. I bought another recently, hoping that a different zipper was used this year, but unfortunately had to return it. Hoping the designers see my note and offer this otherwise perfect jacket with a normal locking zipper.

I would recommend to attach the labels in a seam or use the care labels. After removing the labels they caused a hole that required sewing closed. Needed jacket for a trip, no time to return. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.

It's light weight and warm but it pills after washing. I turn it inside out in the washer and don't put it in the dryer. For the money it shouldn't pill.

My partner bought the Kyanite after I recommended it, having owned one for the past 4 years. A few weeks later she complained that it was not very warm. Strange, I thought, as mine is very warm. I examined her garment and realised that her fabric was much thinner than the fabric used in my Kyanite. She also complained about serious pilling (formation of fuzzy balls) on the arms which has never happened to mine. The pilling makes the hoody look old and worn out. When she took it to the store on West St in Vancouver she was told that the issue with the arms was not covered under warranty. Why has Arc'teryx shifted to a much thinner and clearly more inferior fabric?
