I love this jacket! It fits very true to size and cinches in at the waist for an hourglass profile. It is warm, lightweight, and pretty packable. I use this from Fall to Spring, and it comfortable fits another mid-layer underneath without pinching under the arms or being too tight through the chest/hips. Good length in the body and arms (something I often struggle with coming up short) and the hood doesn't constantly blow off my head; nice slim profile. My only wish is that I found this product sooner!
I tried to use this jacket under a shell going skiing, but it was much too warm for a high output activity.

Arc'teryx nailed it with this one for me. I am constantly cold, but love cold weather sports. This jacket is a staple for me. I wear it under the Alpha SV for very cold in-bounds skiing and it does the trick as a mid-layer. I also end up taking this jacket every time I go backcountry touring because it is the warmest puffy I own for its weight. Even though it's too warm to wear on the ascent, I love having it for cold, windy ridgetop transitions as well as in the case of an emergency/rescue. Since it packs so small (just larger than a nalgene), it's easy to throw into a backpack without being too much of a burden.

I bought this exclusively for hiking up Kilimanjaro. It's light weight yet oh so warm. An added bonus is the handy stuff sack can double as a pillow. I usually wear a medium but it was too tight in the bust so I went a size up and was glad for the extra room. I was able to wear a fleece jacket and 2 other layers with it. With all those layers I was still able to wear my medium Scimitar jacket over it. Paired with the RHO base layer and Alpha SL pant and I was toasty warm all the way up to the summit!

I've owned this product for a few months, originally bought it to keep me warm on Backcountry ski tours but have already had the chance to use it when camping. It packs very small in it's little stuff sack, is very light and kept me incredibly warm through the night! I think it fits true to size and I really like the way it looks.
Great purchase, I love it!

I would give this 5 stars except the fabric seems not very durable. Love the weight features and warmth!

I agree with many of the positive reviews, but after owning this some time now I wish I had opted for a longer parka or that the jacket had some way to be clipped to my baselayer pants. I am always bending over and losing heat from my lower back! It is a HUGE detractor for me and regardless of how I synch it or tuck it in I can't stop that air gap between my jacket and pants. Otherwise its my go-to. This is a concern for me when the temp gets close to zero and I'm wearing as a stand-alone jacket.

This jacket will keep you warm, however, for the money you will be able to find a better deal. The jacket fit is pretty poor. I am petite with a short torso, and this jacket is not long enough, barely reaching the top of my pants. I wish I would have purchased the parka for this reason. Oddly, the arm length on this jacket is unusually long as well. For the cost of the money this jacket could also use more bells and whistles, for example, deeper pockets or fleece around the front neck, but those are pickier complaints of mine. Overall the jacket is warm, but the fit of the jacket is poor, making it a slightly uncomfortable jacket, especially with layers underneath. Order a size up
