A good looking down jacket which will keep your little boy warm. Excellent quality which lasts for more than one season.

My son went to Germany on January 2017, checked reviews from a lot of jackets and products, It seems like this was the best option, so I ordered, my son is back, and I asked him to tell me how he felt, was it warmth enough, comfortable, etc.? And he said YES, I never felt cold with it, he used layers anyway, a thermal, then a warmth t shirt and northface fleece, on the top the jacket, my son is skinny, and it worked just great Totally recomend it for extreme cold weather

I got this coat for my son since he is always saying it is so cold with his other coat so I got him this one. He loves it he says it is very well made and fits perfectly. This is a really good coat to buy If you kid is outside playing in the snow or just waiting at a bus stop this coat is the best boys coat I have ever bought for my kid!!!

It is great it blocks all the wind and snow that is coming toward you're face

I bought this coat for my 15 year-old son bc we were going on a trip to Quebec. The coat was perfect bc the weather the weekend we went was -15 degrees F with a wind chill of -36! Record-breaking temperatures. The coat kept him warm and dry. So glad I decided to purchase it for him.

A great warm jacket. My 9 years old boy love it. He wouldn't take off the jacket. I have to buy one size up which is 10-12 for 9 years old boy. It look a little big on him for this year, but there is string that you can adjust and he has room for sweaters. Great material and super warm.

My son uses it on a daily basis to stay warm, what his like about it that it fits him good and what he don't like about it, I don't know because he loves it.

My son wears this jacket every day.. The puffer he was wearing before he would layer with a fleece jacket but no need with this one....

I purchased this coat for my son for our freezing Milwaukee, Wisconsin winters. It is warm and comfortable for him. He enjoys wearing it on those cold mornings. I am happy with my purchase and so is my son. I would buy this coat for him again and again because of its quality.

This is definitely a COLD WEATHER coat and is best in extreme cold. I would highly recommend this coat. I have but one issue and that is that the coat should have been made with a two way zipper. I don't know how cost effective this would have been for the company but it sure would have made a difference when trying to be seated in the car. This coat is weather-proof and does not absorb water. Its comfortable to wear and its not too heavy. This is not the coat you want to wear in 50 degree weather. It will make you overheat in 50 degree weather. You will want to wear this coat when its 30 degrees or below. Nice and toasty warm. Repels the wind and cold. If you want an exceptionally warm winter coat, get yourself a McMurdo and you will be glad you did. I promise!

This coat is perfect for keeping your young man warm all winter. Although it is a large coat it is very flexible and still allows my son to play and move. If you are looking for something to protect your child from the elements this is the coat. It is goose down warm, hyvent keeps him dry and its waterproof. This is a great buy as are all of the north face coats we've bought our son. They are very durable and we will be passing them on to our next son who will be born in six months.

I would have love for my son coat to would have had a few things my coat comes with, which are a sleeve you cover turn it to cover your hands, I believe is I deal for toddlers since they lose there glove all the time, also I don't like the upper side pockets it should have been a zipper instead of the (I don't know the word for it but it is soft on one side and rough on the side) because this scratches my son hands when he try to put them inside

It warm and cozy

First I would like to say I purchase this jacket every 2 years for me and my son and loved these jackets, but I received mine and my son's today and can't believe the corners they cut this time.. The draw strings around the bottom and around the waist of the jacket were for me huge selling points of this jack. You were able to make the jacket fit your body just right, and to find out that tthis year you guys discontinued using the draws strings makes the jack seem very square and boxey. Doesn't feel like a custom fit like they used too. Then the chest pockets you removed the zipper for Velcro!! So now every time you stick your hands in there your wrists scratch up against the Velcro. . Honestly I love North face I never bought another brand jacket for like the last 15 years, but it seems like quality of the material is cheaper then the past years. It kinda sucks that I will have to look for another brand jacket. I already returned mine but will keep my son's but unfortunately I don't think I will be purchasing these jackets no more. Hopefully north face sees this and can't take a look at this issues . But overall warmth wise very warm and nice design. For the most part. Design has pretty much been the same that's why I loved this jacket.

The coat is very misleading, it is not a parka at all. Parkas are supposed to be designed for extreme weather, Eskimo, arctic conditions, usually insulated with animal fur. I used it in Mass when it was 0C and I was freezing. The hat is especially worthless. When I talked to the reps and told them it was not warm enough they said they won't refund it and I could just wear something under it. No wonder they don't rate their coats like Canada Guess does. NEVER BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN!!
