I've worn Ghost 8's, 9's, and 10's. The 9's were, by far, the best sneaker I have ever owned. So comfortable and really great color choices, too. The 10's are noticeably different. They feel narrow and my feet feel confined, thereby causing them to feel hot. A larger size would not help this; it's just the way the shoe is. After a while, the 10's feel uncomfortable... like they are pressing on the bottom of my feet in the wrong spot (I even tried different inserts but it didn't help). They definitely take longer to break in. However, the 9's felt like a really comfortable pair of socks - you just put your foot in and they fit perfectly. The color I chose in the 10's is very unique and I get a lot of compliments on them but the truth is, I can't wait to take them off when I get home! I really hope Brooks is paying attention and that they go back to the 9 design and material with some fabulous new color combos. Oh, and I'm a big fan of colored outsoles/heels (no boring white outsoles). Thx!

Oh how I wanted to love these shoes and held on to them through multiple tries with other brands. They are soft and cushiony, true to size (I always wear 10B in running shoes and these were a good length and width,) the have an ample toe box, and they were cute on my feet which is a tall order at size 10. I greatly appreciated a colored sole as white makes long feet look even bigger. I loved the teal grey combination. So, what was not to like? Well, what I finally discovered was that these shoes did not have as much structure as my go to Sauconys which I have worn for years. While I did feel like I was walking on a cloud as others have mentioned, I didn't feel like my foot was as stable and contained as I would like. Perhaps my foot was a little narrow for this shoe, I'm not sure, but I missed the lateral support I get in Saucony's and a little more arch support too. on my feet (which is hard to do at a size 10.) I am a 66 year old former runner who now wears running shoes primarily for long walks, running around town, and an active lifestyle. Maybe if I was wearing this shoe for a 45 minute run everyday and then changing to other shoes, this soft, Brooks would be a good choice but for a wear all day shoe I didn't think this would work. I hope this is helpful to others wearing running shoes for everyday and not just for a running work out. They did not seem very sturdy.

I was wearing the Ghost 9 and needed to replace with the Ghost 10. Unfortunately, the 10 does not work for me. There is way too much extra fabric where the tongue is attached to the the shoe. That extra fabric drove me crazy! I wore the shoes around the house and within 15 minutes I could not wait to take them off. I tried several times over a week thinking this would be the time I wouldn't notice it. No luck. Now I'm stuck back at the beginning trying to figure out which shoe/brand to switch to. Hrmph!

I loved the Ghost 9, so I thought I'd love these too. Alas, its like a completely different shoe! The 10 is narrow and almost pointy, thin feeling, with none of the cushiony comfort of the 9s. This is my tiny tragedy of the week.

I have worn Ghosts forever. When Brooks produced the Ghost 9, they changed the top of the shoe and the rubbber over the big toe caused a lot bruising to my big toe on long runs. I was so excited to see the 10s had dropped that but now there is NO covering over the toe and don't think the mesh will last a week. its very uncomfortable at the toe area. I didn't even try a run -- one walk around the living room I knew they were going back.

I absolutely loved this shoe, up until I was wearing them. They are true to size and very comfortable but they wore down WAY too fast!! I’ve only been wearing them for 2 months and already the bottoms are peeling off and coming apart. The toe rubber is long gone and they have faded SO much. As much as I spent on these shoes I am very disappointed in them. They do not hold up at all! Which is a shame because I really like the looks of these shoes.

The Brooks ghost 9 was amazing great arch support and heal cushioning! I bought one in every color. But the Ghost 10 is terrible no arch support and no heal cushioning very disappointed! Why change a good thing! The 9 had a great toe box and all ?? please go back to the ghost 9 style

Ghost has not been my goto Brooks style, but it is now. Soft but not bouncy, all day comfort. I need a wide toe box but the stretchy fabric allows my toes the room the need without damage. I didn't like the way it gripped the street at first - now I love it. Actually going to buy a second pair.

At first I ordered a size 10, my usual size. When I tried them on, they were too small. The exchange process was outstanding; I talked to a friendly person on the phone, returned the size 10's and within 2 days received the size 10 & 1/2, which I have now, and am very pleased with them. Extremely comfortable, but be aware they run small. Also I love the stretchy shoe laces!

i love these shoes. i bought my first pair about 3 weeks ago in the gray and teal (nice and neutral colors)...wore them around the house to make sure they were what i wanted. they were excellent. as soon as i wore them to walk outside (6 mile walk) i knew they were the perfect fit. i came home that day and bought the second pair to have in reserve (the silver and gray). they are awesome! i walk about 20 miles a week and these are the most comfortable show i have had in so long. they are also light and significantly less "heavy" feeling than my previous shoes i have for walking.

The minute you put these shoes on your feet with thank you! It's like stepping into slippers!

Love these shoes. Put them on out of the box and they were perfect. By day’s end I had a second pair ordered. Purchased the soft gray color and they go from workouts at the gym to jeans or summer capris for all day comfort. Highly recommend!!

These are great running shoes. First, they were cuter than I thought. Second, the toe box is properly wide enough - keep your feet from getting numb on the arc or elliptical. Running in them is awesome. Just the right amount of cushion and a solid grip = nice ride. I'm moving from Asics and these are far better as a running shoe. I'm going to stick with Brooks. Runners World and Wirecutter recommendation. Def worth the extra cash if you are a regular runner and using non-impacts at the gym.

Love these athletic shoes. My second pair... the first ones are just getting old (I'm hard on shoes) I have some foot problems so the wide works perfect! Put them on the first day and walked 3+ miles without any concerns! As I said love these! I always get a 1/2 size larger for running/walking shoes. I purchased a 9 as I usually wear and 8 or 8 1/2 in "regular" shoes.

My first pair of Brooks and I love them. Wore them to Disney World for 10 days after only wearing one time previously and had absolutely no trouble. Feel lightweight and good support.

This shoe, is the best shoe that I have bought so far. My feet roll outward and I have a wide foot. I bought a 9 1/2 wide and I have nothing negative to say. I work 12 hour shifts in the medical field and my feet do not hurt at the end of the day. I have tried a variety of shoes, including Dansko’s and Clark’s and these feel way better than those.

I am a 65 year old fitness instructor, and I wear a 9 1/2 narrow shoe. I ordered a 10 1/2 N because this is a walking shoe, and that was perfect. I usually like the fit of Brooks, but my last pair of Brooks got holes in the toes immediately and I had to send them back. I hesitated to order these because of that, but they said it had a roomier toe box than the others so I decided to try it. I've had my first pair for 6 months and they have been great with no hole in the toes issues, so I just ordered a second pair as back up. I ordered the black and pink, and have gotten many compliments on my shoes. They have enough black to look nice with black stretch pants, but enough white to look good with white socks and shorts. Stylish and comfortable.

Best running shoes I have ever owned. Super comfortable, great support. Breathable. I'm on my second pair!

I tried many sneakers ( Thank You Zappos) in wide , to fit my Orthodics. I have not even needed them yet in these super padded sneakers. I have high arches and overpronation . So far, I have had no knee or back problems that I usually get after walking. The Toe box provides so much room. I am now healed after over 3 months from toe surgery It was my second toe, broken in two places. . These were the ONLY sneakers that left me free from toe pain. On top of all that, I constantly get compliments on these. I have the black and pink ones. Love them! Very breathable. I hiked in Colorado with my daughter and walked 3 miles without any problem . I am a female, 62 nest month,reside in Florida, and have had major back surgery 20 yrs ago. I weigh 120 lbs. at 5'5". I have to Thank Zappos for helping me get and keep in shape.
