I Definitely need wide shoes due to bunions. Loved these shoes except the "wides" are not cut wide! Unfortunately, had to return.

For me the shoe was too littel Ihave a wide foot due to diabetes and have bunions..I liked the look of the shoes I used to have a pair of Asics that looked just like these..I returned them lickedty split and it was so easy box them back in the box and take them to the UPS store down the street..I liked that I could understand them in my home as I have stairs and I have a great deal of trouble getting up and down stairs...Thank you for your fast service..

This shoe is attractive and, even with its minimal padding, is comfortable enough. I like that the sole isn’t very flexible as I need to keep the front of my foot more stable. I don’t think this is the shoe for extended comfort wear, but, due to its great price-point, I am keeping it as an around-the-yard shoe.

Working on my third pair of these ASICS Gel Venture 6. I walk 3-4 miles every morning and these shoes keep me going. They are comfortable and wear well. Glad they still make these great shoes.

They fit perfectly & while I don't feel that I overuse my shoes. I'm not a runner. The foot bedding felt worn in w/in a year. But I loved the style & fit so much more comfortably that despite trying on a dozen others: I bought another pair of these.

This is my second pair of Gel-Venture 6. I use them for walking, mostly on paved road. I've only worn this pair for a couple of walks - maybe 15 miles so far - and I see no difference between this pair and the last, which I purchased 10 months ago. I'm a repeat customer because these fit my narrow, high-arched feet. They don't last forever, but are not expensive to replace.

Comfortable out of the box with almost no break in time. I use them for walking and they are ideal for me because I underpronate.

Awful shoes. Awesome customer service. I'm pretty brand loyal to ASICS for running shoes and sneakers because they -fit- (many GEL Kayanos, GEL Contends, a couple of pairs of trail shoes whose model I've forgotten). I overpronate and wear a custom orthotic for that, but I'm usually fine with 'neutral' shoes so long as I have that in, and since I've been running trails more again recently, I thought I'd give these a try. They are a really nice looking shoe with a lot of features I like, and the available colors are good. But... I really thought the reviews saying things like 'I couldn't walk the dog in these' were hyperbole, but I couldn't wear them to work at an office job without developing pain through my whole chain of articulation - lower back, hips, knees, ankles, the bottoms of my feet.. and that was just sitting at my desk. I did wear them to take the dog for a short walk after work but it was uncomfortable going out and -torture- coming back; I honestly thought I'd severely injured myself on my last run or something, but then the pain went away as soon as I took these shoes off and I was able to go running later that day in different shoes. I never did try running or running trails in the GEL-Ventures, and I'm very glad I didn't. Ow. Maybe if you underpronate these would work, but wearing them just put -everything- out of alignment for me, and I'm not exaggerating when I say they were the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn, and that includes a pair of 4" stiletto heels. Zappos customer service was awesome though - I was able to return them under the Runlimited guarantee, and I'm just going to put my refund towards another pair of Gel-Kayonos - from Zappos, of course. :)

Unfortunately, I am returning. I ordered a wide, it said wide on shoe and box, but it was not cut wide. Liked everything else about these.

This is the third pair of Asics gel venture's I have owned:the second one of version 6. That being said I found the size 9.5 to be a better overall fit than the previous one I had in a size 10. I don't really 'run' per se but I use these on trails and alone lakes/any non-paved surfaces. The grip on the sole is the main reason I prefer this model. I can imagine that if you are an avid runner, you may want a more squishy feel, but I prefer the slight stiffness for uneven footing.

I bought both this pair and the Asics Gel-Venture 7 to try out. The Gel-Venture 6 is fine, but the 7 is much lighter, springier, and more comfortable, so I'd recommend that one instead!

I have been buying the Gel Venture 6 style for a while now and my feet love them. They fit like a glove and the arch is perfect for my foot needs!

Super comfy! Put my support insoles in them and I can finally be on my feet all day without pain! Will definitely be buying these again!

These Asics felt half size smaller than the old Asics Gel Equation I own. It felt like there was no arch support and the main problem with these shoes was that it was heavy. Sadly, I will be returning them.

Could never get this shoe to fit; tried different lacing styles and socks. Feet constantly slipped in shoe.

This is my second pair of the Venture 6. I love the fit and the grippy traction. Great for hiking and dog walking. Thanks Zappo for your fast delivery and great service!

What Happened? I bought a pair of these back in November of 2018 - size 8 Wide and I felt they gave me pretty decent arch support and comfort to take long walks either on pavement or grass. It's now the end of June and since the current pair has some of the tread worn down, I felt I needed a new pair (after trying a few other brands again). Only available colors were the black and lime green (same as current) and the grey and pink. I opted for the grey and pink in exact same size and width, but after wearing for just ONE day, the balls of my feet and calves were killing me. I exchanged for the same pair, thinking maybe it's quality control. These are definitely not as wide as my first pair purchased back in November and tighter all around in the toebox area. Again, what the bleep is manufacturing doing? Shrinking shoes to save on cost? I'm getting really fed-up that there is such inconsistency.
