The sole is very hard and uncomfortable... not at all what I was hoping for in a "gel" sole. Maybe it's normal for real runner's tennis shoes, since I'm used to regular cloudfoam adidas tennis shoes or other memory foam tennis shoes. Also, the right shoe was noticable tighter/more narrow.

Not only were these shoes a half size too small; they had definitely been worn by someone else and returned! So, now I have to return these.

I was terribly disappointed in this particular style of ASICS. I have had good luck with them in the past but I have worn these only twice and they have no stability, the tongue and laces press into the top of my foot and I have blisters and the beginnings of shin splints from working out in them. To be fair my feet are difficult to fit as I have very high arches and wide feet. Sadly the only way to find out they weren't going to work was to actually wear them so I cannot return them. I will be going back to Brooks.

This looks nice but it feels very cheaply made. Since it costs $49 that shouldn't come as a surprise. It's also very uncomfortable. No arch support and no cushioning. When laced up snugly the front bunches up. So it's going back.

These had a strange feel to them. Cheap. But the fit was off, seemed too big and high, I didn't feel like I could comfortable wear them.

Bought these shoes in Feb 2018 online from Amazon Outdoor Equipped was retail sub outlet. Wore them twice and experienced metatarsal foot pain. There is little to no cushioning in the forefoot of the shoe. Made multiple attempts to return for credit with Amazon, Outdoor Equipped, and ASICS. Lots of apologies and excuses but NO LUCK. I had been an ASICS steady customer for several years, but they sell a cheaper product now. You lost a customer today. Suggest shoppers avoid your shoes too, especially those sold through Amazon. Their A to Z guarantee is worthless.

Initially I loved these shoes. After a few weeks I noticed the bottom of my feet and ankles hurt all of the time! Took a break from these shoes an the pain went away. Went back and the pain returned. IMO, these shoes are terrible!

I usually wear Asics Gel Nimbus running shoes. I thought I would try these because I do have some supination (feet rolling out). This Asics shoe claims to address that problem, and it probably does. But I won't get to find out because the shoe is really sub par. It's very stiff; the loop where the laces cross is very lax; there's little support for the foot; and the shoe is plain uncomfortable. I'm going to try the Asics Gel Nimbus 20, but the 19's had such a tight toe box, that I'm not optimistic. What has happened to Asics? They used to be a shoe I could ALWAYS count on.

These are the most uncomfortable Asics I have every tried. Tried them on in the house and my feet hurt in 10 minutes. Stiff toe box!

I had previously had a pair of gel equation. I loved them first pair of asics. They had a great arch which I need Money is tight so I didn't want to spend a lot. That's why I got gel venture 6. I feel for me there is no arch. I stand on my feet all day. I now will have to go to a store and try on a few pair. To find the right one For me.
