Don't know if anyone else has this issue, but these shoes make my left foot go numb. I also have this problem with Nike sneakers.

Advertised as Gel. No gel inserts just regular inserts. Not comfortable at all

The fit was true to size but the shoe itself was very rigid. Returned today.

This is my second pair of these shoes. Love the first pair but the second pair is a disappointment. The second pair is not as wide in the toe box and my toes rubs on the side. Visually, its plan to see they are not the same as the first pair. They also seem a bit shorter then the first pair. I will be sending them back.

I returned the 8.5 and won't order a size up. In addition to it being too small (and I have never worn a size 9 in any shoe), it is stiff and the cut around the ankle is too high and rubs on my ankle.Also, it is cut high in the back and I think could rub on my heel as well. Not a good design. I am getting the Brooks Ghost instead.

Cheap shoe, poor fit across toe box, something is very wrong at Asics! They’ve changed many shoe fits and now they feel cheap, lack support, are short in length and/or WAY too weirdly tight/narrow in toe box. I’ve given up on Asics now, having tried three different shoes and having to return them all. This is after 15 years of wearing only Asics.

I have wide feet and the wide shoe gives a great fit. This is the second pair of this style I have ordered. Great value.

The only shoe I buy are ASICS venture.. I’m on my feet all day as a transporter at our hospital and need to take care of my feet. I think I have bought every color they have..

These trainers are comfortable right out of the box. They're supportive, but not too heavy. I'm very pleased with them. The price was unbelievably low, too.

I love these shoes! The toe-box is a little bigger than my normal running shoe, ASICS GT-2000s, which actually works better for me, especially on rooty trails. They are comfortable and the larger tread helps a lot with slick ground. I find them to be a little flatter / have less arch support than the GT-2000s, but in a way that I like. They also just feel much sturdier and more water resistant than non-trail shoes, which I appreciate.

These run large, and I have wide feet. I ordered them in an 8.5 (which is my usual walking/hiking shoe size) and I am going to exchange for an 8. They are very comfortable otherwise.

wore them to work. on my feet . . Felt comfortable to me. I don't wear them every day; size felt good. I have narrow feet so they weren't too wide . I live in a tropical climate so I don't wear them a lot. Too hot where I live for everyday wear. But for work and talking a walk they were great .

I read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing these because I have very high arches. While the arch support was ok, not great, my biggest complaint is how tight the top of the shoe is, even with loose laces. It made my feet hurt worse and am looking to go back to Brooks running shoes.

I have Plantar Fasciitis and have underpronation and have used Asics Gel Equation 8 for the last few years. I loved them! They stopped making them and I was hoping these would be a good replacement. Unfortunately, they are not. They are fine for short distances but they do not have much cushion. I will have keep searching for a replacement!

I was looking for an underpronator running shoe (also for occasional hiking). I wear 9 M (medium) in boots/closed-toe shoes but ALWAYS need 9.5 D (wide) in Asics running shoes, which is a difficult size to find so I really wish they could get the fit right so I can buy 9 M like ALL my other shoes and other brands of running shoes. I have been wearing Asics for about 10 yrs and this shoe fits comfortably in the toe box and across the boot BUT even laced up tightly, my heel slipped out every time I took a step. So although the rest of the shoe (front to mid-shoe area) fit well, the heel was too wide/loose. Also, the cushioning was just moderate. Sending them back.

I normally wear 7W or 8B, so I ordered 7W. My toe touched the end of the shoe, toe box snug, while the heel felt loose. Pretty sure they would slide up and down my heels. Pretty to look at, but returned and trying another brand.

The toe box on this Asic is more pointed than my previous pair (I don't recall the style). It put pressure on the outside edge of my toes. I much prefer the round toe box.

I have had 2 pairs of Gel Contend and I like them a lot. I liked the look of these so decided to try a different model of Asics. However these fit really weird. Length and Width they seemed normal. So I am not sure if it is the arch support? I have neutral feet. These feel like there is something extra underneath the balls of my feet and putting extra pressure there. I'm not really sure how else to describe it. I tried them on and walked around my house a bit and just sat at my desk. After awhile my feet started to go numb. So going to return these and try something else. (I really wanted these to fit because I like the style and I hate returning things!)
