I love the shoes but still getting used to all black. Wish there would have been more choices but when you are purchasing a discontinued shoe you have to expect less of a color selection.

This is my second pair of Gel-Venture 6 and I love them. They fit like a glove and they are very comfortable. They are great for off trail running and they give me a good grip on the trail.

I wore these shoes during a 5k. They were great running shoes! Great fit and comfortable!

Excellent fit from the start. I run 20 miles/week and my shoes usually last 6-7 months; I rotate two pair. This is my third purchase of ASICS Gel Venture, and each time they have lasted well over 2 years between the 2 pair - very impressive. Very pleased with ASICS in general and the Gel Venture 6 specifically.

Very comfortable shoe. Perfect for woods hiking and all around walking

You can't bet these for the money I work in mine every day a lot of walking I love them going get another pair very soon I love my ASICS shoes I have 12 pairs.

I run somewhat supine (on the outside edges of my feet), about 60% hard surface and 40% dirt, about 25/30-miles/wk. The GEL-Venture in its various iterations have been my go-to shoes for many years now. ASICS' last-shape and sizing on the GEL-Venture has been remarkably consistent between generations and different pairs of shoes, so I've never had any problem with ordering them direct, several pairs at a time -- most recently the GEL-Venture 6. The soles are a stable shape and fairly grippy. Cushioning is good, though I'll add a gel-pad under the heel in shoes that see downhill use on a hard surface. I'll get about 200/250-miles (two-months) out of a pair before grinding all the way through the outside edges of the heel and toe soles. If used only on dirt, I suspect they would wear far longer. They have enough cushioning left to keep running in them after wearing through the soles, but their low price combined with my running form simply encourages a new pair of shoes. Overall consistently well-made, and at a price that encourages running in fresh shoes.
