Had the same cushion as all the Nimbus ASICS but the fit of these was very narrow, tight and short! I've been wearing these for years buy at least 4 pair a year. Hope the Nimbus 20 is better.

I have always worn the Nimbus and loved them. These are not the same shoes. Not sure if there's so much gel in them but my legs are so tired after wearing them. Almost like walking in quicksand. I haven't worn these very much and feel I wasted my money. Please go back to the older ones!

I have worn ASICS Nimbus for YEARS and the Nimbus 19 is the first model I have ever been unhappy with. They're sized very small. The shoe is shorter and narrower than usual. I'm so disappointed!! I have spent thousands of dollars on ASICS over the years and I have walked & run thousands of miles in ASICS, and now the newest version doesn't fit. Very Sad!

The Nimbus line has been my go to shoes for the past few years. Plantar fasciitis has been a problem and these have provided relief. Because of the wide with of my foot I wear a men's 8.5 4E. Women's sizes are never wide enough. This pair is very tight and do not have same width as previous purchases. May not purchase again if this will be the standard.

This make of the shoe is definitely more narrow and made quite different. I love the previous model and I'd have to say I like this model but don't love it. Especially since I was expecting what I was used to and it was so different.

The 19's are not great - I liked earlier models much better. I want to know why other companies keep popular models around for decades but Asics forces us to get new shoes every year? Why cant they let us vote on the most popular model of Asic Nimbus, label it a classic and keep it around for an extended period of time? At this point Im having to use insoles when I didnt have to before and they are on the verge of losing me. What makes me stay is the fact that I can do 3 months/almost 450 miles before the soles are run through... but I'm sure I can find something else that does that.

Order a size bigger... they run small. Other than that they are fine.

I only wear Asics and wear mine for running, gym and standing for long hours. I wear a 9.5 and have narrow feet. The last pair of Asics I owned were the women's nimbus 16. Unfortunately, the 19 doesn't measure up. It looks and feels poorer quality and the cushioning is stiffer. The sizing also seems shorter and narrower than previous models. With previous Asics' I've owned I put the trainers on and right away I felt the cushion and comfort. Not so with the 19. It's my second day wearing them and I still feel they need "breaking in."

I have owned many GEL-Nimbus shoes (15-19) although had to switch to Brooks during the 18 debacle due to poor fit - especially the heel. The 19 has a much better feel and heel-fit than the 18, however the toe box is crazy narrow. While okay for short runs (i.e., < 4 mi), this can be a problem for longer runs. I had to break off a 15 mile run at 9 miles to avoid torching my feet. I knew they ran narrow and went up a size, but this hasn't worked out as planned. Buyers - Consider the 4E. Asics - please bring back the bigger toe box, but keep the rest of the design.

Not since Nimbus 16 have I been happy. I always am hopeful but feel like Charley Brown when Lucy promises she will hold the football for him to kick and she pulls it away to his dismay.
These shoes out of the box again like the last three preceding run too small in length and the toe box is cramped. Even with foot gel and runners thin sock I developed three blisters after running only three miles. The old Nimbus never did that.

I would recommend trying these on in store prior to purchasing. Asics seems to be making this line smaller and smaller. I was a size 8 in the gel nimbus 16, size 9 in the gel nimbus 18, and now size 9.5 in the gel nimbus 19. Typically I wear a size 8 in all other types of shoes (non running) purchased. A bit disappointed with the toe box....I was hoping they would bring back more space like the 16s. My foot is narrow so the wide version fits well in the toe box but is too loose in the arch. I have yet to try these for a run, but am hoping my toes don't fall asleep with the updated version.

I bought these about three months ago and they are not nearly as conformable as the 18. Very hard bottom and not as giving.

I have owned every series of the gel nimbus back to the 12 series. The 19 is the worst one ever made. Too small, too narrow, and just not as comfortable. The 20 is much improved more like the 18 felt. Personally I like the older series, around 16 or so, they are a little heavier but more cushion and more durable.

I have always bought Asics Nimbus in a 10.5. I thought nothing of it, so I put them on for work and they are a lot smaller then before. I wore them, so I'm stuck with them.

Buy a half size bigger because these run smaller than the usual Asics.

I bought the 19 hoping it would be like all of the ASICS I've worn. Shoe is tight in the toe and the mesh stuff around the shoe makes it uncomfortable to wear. It seems like their intent was to make it rigid. Not a big fan.

This was my first purchase of ASIC running shoes, and I bought these shoes to help with my subpronation. It does help some with my foot problems, but I found them to be a tighter fit compared to other running shoe styles and a lot less "cushy". Very disappointed in the compfort.

I was wearing the Gel Cumulus, this is a much cushier ride than the GC.
I run about 20 miles a week on concrete and if I could exchange for the GC I would
