How come ASICS offers the latest men's 4E Nimbus only in black or gray as opposed to the whole rainbow of colors available for all other sizes? Black shoes might be useful if I were to wear them to a funeral or gray slacks but I was actually planning to use them for running. As I have done for the past 15 years. The Nimbus 4E are the perfect shoe for my stride and foot. Makes no sense. Come on ASICS, you can do better than that.

I bought this shoe last week. My first clue should have been when I tried it on my original try on was my tried and true 7.5, which is perfection in my nimbus 17 and 18. It was so small, it fit like a size 6! I had to go up an entire shoe size to an 8. That was still a little snug to be honest. The toe box is obviously meant for someone missing their toes. The shoe is so insanely narrow you would have to have extremely skinny feet or a procedure to remove a third of your foot to make these shoes fit comfortably. I have a heel spur and these shoes have always been a God send for reliving the discomfort. Now my heel and the sides of my feet ache. They are going back ASAP. What happened to the nimbus? Did everyone who designed the fantastic nimbus of the past get fired? Did asics decide they didnt want our money anymore? I'm extremely disappointed and now on the search for a shoe that will relieve my foot pain, not give me more of it.

Bought these because they felt so soft and cushiony. They were great for a few days. Seems like the arches fell, and the material flattened within a few weeks. Not please, and would not recommend. They toe box is more narrow than it used to be.

Read the reviews and bought a half size larger than I wear in every other shoe or sneaker. Still so tight in the front of my foot can't even wear them. Don't understand how a company this large can mess up sizing so badly

For the past 8 years Ive been wearing the nimbus, for running, walking, etc... I loved them so much I got my husband to start wearing them and he loved them as well. The biggest reason I started wearing nimbus was because of a foot issue and nimbus greatly helped so I was able to continue running. The 19 does not have the walking on a cushy cloud feeling. They feel really hard. Its actually caused my foot to start hurting and my knees after running hurt. I wish they wouldnt discontinue past models then people could have a choice in what they buy. On the plus side, the colors are great.

I have been wearing the Gel Nimbus since the 16 and these hurt my feet so bad that I can't even wear them. While they are my correct size, they are so tight on the top of the foot below the toes, that I can't wear them without extreme pain.

I have worn Gel Nimbus for more years than I can count. I train and have run many half marathons in this shoe. I just got my new ones today and I almost cried when I tried them on. What happened to my perfect fit?! Too small in the toe box, too snug everywhere. I am so disappointed that my go to shoe has changed so drastically. I cannot keep them and will be returning them.

Been running the Nimbus line over a decade since model 6, same size forever. I've been the same (weight +/- 2 lbs., same type of socks, same stride, etc.) but developed nasty blisters within first week of using these. I've never had a running shoe do this except for that time I raced in an ultra in the hills of Wisconsin in the middle of the summer, but those blisters I earned... As for these shoes, after only 40 miles, I simply cannot wear them - wasted my money on a poor design. I hope the 20 is better. Bottom line, just no good... I submitted a complaint under their warranty section of the website, outcome is pending.

Dear Asics, the next time you redesign a shoe, soak your feet in Kool Aid then stick them in a vice and tighten pressure equal to your body weight and run 50 miles in a week. That's what these shoes are like, colors are humiliating and the toe box too tight. I though I would break them in, but they broke my feet. and my bank. no thanks.

I have worn GEL-Nimbus for the past several years and have LOVED this shoe. It has provided great support for my moderate mileage and has kept me injury-free. I ordered two pair of my usual size 9 win the 19 model. Similar to many other reviews, the fit is very different. The toe box is extremely small and tight, and my feet feel very scrunched. Sadly I will be returning both pair and am looking for a new brand to explore. It was nice to be able to rely on this shoe and I am definitely disappointed.

I have used ASICS' Nimbus for as long as they've been in existence (I've been running since 1980). I am disappointed in this year's model as they were smaller, tighter than all the previous years. What changed? I threw away the box and mailer because I never had a problem with Nimbus fitting before.

Although the same size (according label), they are a bit tighter and smaller than the other purchased Asics men shoes, Gel Nimbus 19....

Very disappointed! I'm a size 7, but decided to go half a size up after reading other reviews. After wearing them around the house for a couple of hours I realized they were still too snug around the toe box. I returned them for a size 8, but sadly they didn't work out. These shoes are too narrow and didn't provide the same support as my Nimbus 15. Fortunately I was able to return them. I exchanged them for a pair of Gel Kayanos 23. I'm hoping I have better luck with them.

This is my. 5th pair of Nimbus. They are so narrow and uncomfortable that my feet fall asleep. They are terrible! My old broken down 17s are more comfortable than these. I'm done with Nimbus

I've always loved the Nimbus. Not sure what the change is but they don't feel the same and my feet felt horrible in them. Hope you bring the old style back. I love Asics

I have purchased many Nimbus shoes before and these are terrible. The cushion wore off within 100 miles. To make matters worse, the laces literally ripped apart after about 150 miles. I know they are just laces, but without laces a shoe doesn't work! I'm unbelievably disappointed with this shoe. Just awful.

This is my third try to submit a poor review because ASICS keeps moderating it. The gel nimbus 19s are a horrible model. The 18s were a better product. I don't like the fit as they were manufactured smaller and more narrow than previous models.

They look good but the sizing is different than past 10.5 shoes. I've only run in the same size and model shoe for years and this shoe is entirely too small

The gel nimbus have been the only shoe for me for years. The cushioning in these are awful. Like walking on bricks.

After having a stress fracture in my foot years ago , I found that the Gel Nimbus was the only shoe with adequate forefoot cushioning. Unfortunately, there seems to be very little support in the 19 to the point where I can feel my foot being stressed again. Also, I agree with others about the narrowed toe box. Very disappointed - it took a long time to find the right shoe.

Yes, that's right. You can probably find my review of the 17s, one of the best training shoes I've ever had. Then I reviewed the 18s which were much worse. I suspect they made the shoe stiffer. Finally, the 19s are worse than the 18s because they made the toe box way too small. Did they change the last? Did the factory screw up? Sorry to say, but after decades of running in ASICS I need to find a different manufacturer. ASICS, are you listening?
