Awful. Asics - you made your shoes shorter, wider, and deeper. Why would you do this to a running shoe??

I absolutely love my gel-cumulus 18 shoes, but the 19 does not have a heel notch across the top of the ankle. Instead, it curves up and irritates my achilles tendon. It is very difficult to find running shoes in a true size narrow and the cumulus is the only style that ever fits me, so I hope next year they fix the achilles issue. Also, I ordered a full size larger than my usual size - two sizes normal than what I wear in a dress shoe.

I only wear Asics bc I have a narrow heel and a wide foot. In everyday shoes I wear a 10 Wide. Lately in Asics I wear an 11.5 Wide (D).
You have to go up in size to leave room at the toe. I'm surprised they don't size them with a roomier toebox in your regular size. The toe box feels nice and roomy but a bit annoying the shoe comes up higher on the outside of my ankles.
Have never worn this style of Asics before. They feel much like my Gel Fortitude's.
Had to go with the blue color bc I needed such a large size.
And they are blue. Really really really blue.

I ordered a full size longer and it's still too short! I've had other of these same shoes and the 9 was the perfect size.

I normally wear an 8SS or 8.5SS in regular shoes. With Asics I always have to go with a 9N. However, the pair received when I place both shoes heel to heel together the left one is at least a half, maybe a whole size longer than the right one even though both shoes are marked 9N. Even the right one seems wider than previous Asics. I wish they would get a handle on their products and refine some of these problems. It's to the point where I can't find any sneakers that fit!

I used to absolutely love ASICS Cumulus. But they have shrunk the design in every manner possible, rendering it unwearable. I've added sizes and widths to my very normal 8.5 shoe size but nothing adds enough space for my heels or toes or restores the cushiony feel they used to have. Returned.
I'd also recommend:
Asics Gel Kayano 24 has foot space.

I loved lthe look of the shoe I thought the red and black looked fantastic. I ordered a half a size bigger because I saw other people's comments that it runs small Boy were they right it was still incredibly small it was so tight around the front of my foot I couldn't move my toes inside the shoe and my toes were crammed into the end of it. Hello bunion pain. There was no way it would've been comfortable walking in it. I could tell the minute I put it on. I'm just not comfortable ordering an entire size larger so I guess I'm gonna have to go into the store and try them on. so addicted to ordering things from Zappos thank God for free returns.

Ive been a fan of the Cumulus for my picky feet. I bought the 16 through another site again after the 17 and 18 didn't fit right. The 19 regular was too tight in the front. I ordered the W as well and it fit well so far. I hope they fix all these changes they made for Cumulus lovers in version 20. !

I've worn and currently wear ASICS for years but somehow they managed to make an uncomfortable shoe. It runs about a half size short so my big toe was hitting the end of the shoe. The shoe felt stiff overall so back it goes. I also ordered another pair of ASICS (Gel Nimbus 18) and perfecto! The shoe looks great but the discomfort is also great.

Even going up a half size these felt a little small... like my big toe would rub if I ran.

I have bought Asics shoes for over a decade and got used to upsize my running shoes by one size, from 7.5 to 8.5 for running shoes. However this new GEL Cumulus 19 shoe seems even smaller than the former lines, especially in the toe box. Compared to the GEL Cumulus 18 in 8.5 it requires a GEL Cumulus 19 shoe in 9.5. That means upsizing a regular shoe size of by 1.5 which now fits a size 9.
Also noteworthy is that this shoe has no protective toe tip as the 18 model has. The fabric goes all the way to tip of the shoe where it may be worn out faster. The (leather?) ring on top of the toe box may rub on your toes, or may be pushing on your big toe and pinky tips, that's why the additional size may help.

These are gorgeous, butttttt too narrow! I’m not a “wide” shoe person but tend to not do great work narrow shoes. Sad these didn’t work for me.

I've been wearing the Gel-Cumulus for few iterations now, and this one was markedly smaller in the toe box than previous versions. I had to send them back because I got blisters in between my toes from them. I'm not ready to give up on asics yet--I re-ordered them in wide, so we'll see how that goes.

This pair looks great and has a great price. But if you need lower back support like me, do not get this pair. Too bad. I really like the look and colors. I'm going to return this.

This is an aesthetically nice shoe; however, it is a very uncomfortable shoe. Very stiff and seemed higher on the ankle resulting in rubbing.

ASICS Gel Cumulus is my main sneaker. Been buying them for years and years. This version however runs so small that I actually went a whole size up. I'm a size 6. In normal ASICS I'm a size 7. In the v19 of this sneaker I had to go to an 8. Why ASICS? Why? The v18 was awesome. I was sooooo sad when they "refreshed" it. The refresh years always are wonky. Then I have to make due until they go back to the good version as their base. Just a warning folks. These run hella small.

I'm a daily walking and have always worn Asics. Unfortunately the Gel-Cumulus 19 did not fit, they were too small, especially in the toe. will try another model.

I've been running in the 19s for about 4.5 months, and I can say for sure that they are so much narrower than the 18s. I don't understand why Asics feels the need to keep changing a shoe every year. I just read the reviews for the 20s and am already disappointed. It sounds like the same problems as the 19s.
PLEASE bring back the 18s. They were the very best shoe ever. I was lucky enough to own and run in three pair of these, but eventually had to make the upgrade, which wasn't an upgrade at all.
I wear a size 7 street shoe, and I run with orthotics in an 8.5. The toe box on the 19s is very tight and hurts the outside of my foot.

I've been wearing various Asics styles in size 8 for 16 years. These were a disappointment. The toe box was too short & too narrow. The arch fit just right, so it doesn't seem that moving up a size would solve the problem. I ended up purchasing a new pair in another style that I previously owned. The toe box in the Flux 5 was also shorter & narrower than my previous pair. What is Asics doing?
