These kicks are FANTASTIC for HIGH IMPACT workouts I.E.; INSANITY and P-90x
I've tried many different types of shoes that are for running ( I was misled in thinking that's what I needed) I began to think my balance was off ...but the shoes just had no stability .
The moment I put these shoes on and did a class I was able to all the one legged moves with ease .... THEY ARE LIGHT ANDCAN ABSORB SHOCK From suicide jumps etc

I have worn Kayanos for several years now. I tried another shoe a few years ago and the result was pain in my Achilles’ tendon and so I returned to the Kayano. I run 3 miles a day five days a week and absolutely love these shoes. Zappos makes the shoe purchase so easy and delivery is fast.

I am not sure why all the reviews that say this shoe runs small! I ordered up a full size as recommended and then had to exchange twice down to my regular size. These shoes are available in narrow, so I am wondering if people ordered them in the wrong width. For me these fit exactly as my Asics have fit for 20 years.

I bought these sneakers to help combat plantar fasciitis and had almost immediate relief. A few days later I bought another pair in another color. I have been rotating between the two pairs all summer, all day long. Both my chiropractor and orthopedist stopped to look at them and were impressed. I dread going back to work shoes after the summer. My only complaint is that in my size, there were so limited colors available. Can't recommend them enough.

I have been wearing Gel Kayano running shoes for 3 years now and I had always just bought them at the local Dick's Sporting Goods Store. I didn't know they came in different colors which I discovered ordering them directly from ASICS. I was happy to find an all black pair this way in my size and on sale because they are last years model.

I have been buying Gel Kayanos for 10 years now. I have a class 2 nites a week which is very rigorous and my GKs never let me down. The 24s are a bit wide up front - different than my last 10 pairs so I wear a bit heavier sock. They work
These are the white and I get stopped by strangers saying they love the sneaks..

This is my second pair of GEL-Kayano 24 shoes I purchased. I like the different colors. I've been an ASICS GEL-Kayano purchaser for a few years now, starting with the GEL-Kayano 20. Prior to having the courage to try on the GEL-Kayano series, I wore the ASICS GT series. A great stability shoe, I currently wear the GEL-Kayano 24 for walking, running & the GEL-Kayano 23 for Jazzercise.

I have been running in asics sneakers for over 10 years. I have had numerous knee surgeries (2 ACL's, 2 Partial Replacements) and was told running would be hard to do after all the repair. With my knee brace and asics, I have been running for 25-30 miles a week for years. My only problem is that I wear out the soles rather quickly, and have quite a few used pairs!

I am a late-beginner runner (I am up to 3 miles) and I have been starting to pay attention to my footwear, since I have noticed there is definitely a difference between my very old sneakers and my newer sneakers. (Also, all the running websites tell me to do so.) I have been wearing ASICS for more than a decade, mostly gel Kayanos, also Nimbus. I have found the Kayanos have disappointed me in the past - they're constantly changing a great style for obscure reasons - but because of the good reviews I found on the internet and a few on this website, I decided to try these. I am very pleased with these sneakers. They have great arch support, and I like the look. For me personally, they allow me to land lightly and naturally and lean forward like you're supposed to, and I don't have to work at it. I may even find another pair before they're all sold out!

I was a huge fan of the Kinsei 6 shoes, but since they discontinued the line I was in search for another shoe. I've had Kayano's before so decided to go back to them. After trying a couple different types of ASICs, I found that the Kayano 24 worked the best. The Kayano is stiffer than the Kinsei and Nimbus. The toe box was a perfect fit even though I have wide feet. The Nimbus was a little too wide and squisy. I know these will work great for running. The only thing is that on these new Kayano 24, under the ball of my foot, the gel pad is very hard. I'm hoping it will contour to my foot after a few times breaking it in.
I had to go half a size up as these ran a little small.
