I had no idea vegan meant plastic. And these looked like plastic. I didn’t even try them on since they had the plastic look.

Run small. My husband didn’t love them. Looking for a replacement to waterproof Bogs. Returned

These are really cute but don't feel that good on and they rub uncomfortably on the front and side of my legs, even with socks. They also do not have any give. Bummer

these are different than the other 2976s I own and love. since these are not leather they do not break in the same as leather. across the top of the footbed there is zero give or flex, leading to incredibly sore feet very quickly. This did not change after several walks in them, so i had to swap back for another leather version

First I didn't realize these were not leather; given the price I just assumed. Second I can't answer the above questions because the ankle area is so small and so stiff I was never able to get my foot into the boot. Needless to say they are being returned

I tried two sizes - the 8 was way too big and the 7 would have fit but I couldn't get my foot into the actual boot because there is no give in the shaft. I returned both sizes.

Narrow, came with no insole. You have to buy separately find additional charge! No arch support, stiff as hell. Did I get old or did doc martens become really bad?

Doc Marten has gone to s&it. They don’t come with soles! You have to buy them separately. No cushion, just a hard sole. Then when you buy the doc marten brand insoles it makes the boots small and narrow. They become a size smaller. … Don’t know if real leather is better but they never stretched out. Had to sell them.

THE WORST boot I’ve ever had the displeasure of purchasing. I can’t believe there are good reviews on this boot. I had them for under a year and whatever material they used has ripped and torn from the boot. They look horrible. I wear them simply to tell everyone about how terrible The Doc Martin co has become. I’ve worn Docs since high school 1994 and I loved them. Recently I’ve had 2 pairs fail in under a year; I’ve tried to contact the company and have nothing but the run around. Nothing has been done and from the sounds of customer service team they don’t care. DONT PURCHASE DOC MARTINS unless you like wearing ripped pieces of garbage.

Returned. Uncomfortable and difficult to put on and take off

The first problem with this shoe is that there was a large glue dot on the elastic. I wouldn't have expected that from Dr. Martens, especially at this price. Even if it hadn't been defective, I would have returned these. They were nearly impossible to put on the ankle is so tight. Once I was finally able to pry it on, I found them to be very uncomfortable and painful to walk in.
