I ordered down one size but could have gone one more. I have worn them only one time to a party with colleagues. Pants stretched out throughout the evening and I had to constantly pull them up. It was embarrassing. Event theme was black and white and after wearing so much black this winter, thought these jeans and a white sweater would be fabulous. The color is great, length was perfect for my 5'2" frame. Overall, not the most flattering. Didn't make the behind look that good, either. If there is definition and volume, they would look fabulous. Not for those of us whose behind is lovingly referred to as, "The Pancake." The heiny sagged all evening.

I love NYDJ jeans, capris and shorts! I can always order my size and know that it will fit perfectly. Great quality and great selection!! I don't know what I did before finding this brand. LOVE!!

I bought these in both white and coolmax lightweight denim. Same style, but the fit was slightly different with the white a little shorter and looser through the leg. However both are incredibly comfortable. The coolmax are perfect with no bagging and they feel weightless. The white also fit extremely well and didn't stretch out significantly. I bought my usual nydj size in both.

I love these jeans you need to order a size down on the NYDJ website it states to always order one size down. They fit perfect. I ordered the exact same jean in Clay in the same size but they fit everywhere except for the waist upper and lower waist. It may be because it was just sewn smaller in error because the material is the same but different people sometimes sew the clothes.

Love the pants from the hips down. Nice straight tapered look; great length. the waist band however, measures 36 inches for a size 6P, so there is far too much width to be handled even by a belt. If you are a size 6 and have a 35 or 36" waist, you'll be fine.

don't like the fit at all to big every where, can't keep them from riding down when i walk, big disappointment.

After years of purchasing Clarissa ankle pants, Alina was disappointing - too baggy for me. I will continue to purchase NYDJ but not Alina.
