Based on other reviews I sized-up. For me it wasn't the right choice and the 38 was too big. Reordered my regular size 37 and they are a perfect fit. Very comfortable.

I have been dealing with achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis, walking with pain has been an issue. I was at a loss as to what to wear on a trip where there is lot of walking involved. These shoes saved my feet. The minute I put them on I knew I'll be able to walk with minimal pain in my heel. The fit is a bit snug at first since I have high arch and with the side zip it can feel tight, but it does stretch out and it is now perfect! I've been walking around the city with no pain, it's wonderful. My regular size is 5, I also ordered another pair in 5.5, I ended up going with 5.

I love this shoe. This is my second pair. I size up 1/2 size for a great fit!

I normally need narrow, but these shoes ran a bit narrow, and with my custom insoles they fit perfectly.

Love these! The shale color works with most outfits and they are so comfortable for walking. I wear them while traveling since they're supportive and so easy to slip on and off. Plus, they don't slip off my narrow heel but still have enough room in the toe area. I wore them in the rain and the leather still looks great. There is some sizing inconsistency though - I've tried on a couple pairs of the same size and they fit differently.

One of my favorite shoes ever. They look great, are extremely comfortable, and the craftsmanship is exceptional. For instance, the stitching has withstood all the abuse I've thrown at these shoes. The leather is durable yet soft. At first I tried to wear these only for casual get-together s but they are so comfortable I just ended up wearing them for everything including light hiking and farm chores, in mud and water. They now are a bit dirty but I ordered a second pair I'll try to keep for casual social activities. Pricey and worth every dollar. (Much better than the cheaper Ecco model that has two zippers.)

This little bootie is the best ever. Not only does it look great with any outfit, it feels great as well! I highly recommend a protective product for the leather before you wear them. They are a gem of a shoe!

Ready for the Fall. These shoes are great, I am usually a 7 but had to get a 6.5. Very comfortable, will go perfect with jeans or skinny pants. These are the kind of shoes I will wear everyday. Suede feel, easy to jump into....a swell shoe. Maybe a bit costly but I will wear them so much it is worth it.

I normally wear a 10 M so I got the 10-10.5 size in these. The overall length fits as expected but these boots are a little on the narrow side. I tried them on with SmartWool ankle socks (the kind I'd probably wear with them), not a thick sock at all, just a regular running/walking/exercise thickness of sock. I could tell the second I zipped up the first boot that this was a hugging fit. When I tried to zip the other boot, it actually took three tries! However, once on, and as I walked around the house, while they felt snug, they didn't feel like my feet were strangling, nor were they uncomfortable to walk in, they're just narrower than a traditional M width. The style itself is very cute. I got the Dark Shadow color. I think they'll be really cute with jeans and leggings. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair in black.

The style was what I was looking for but they were a disappointment. I read the reviews and bought a 39 and a 40 since many people said that they needed a full size larger. Not true. I have a narrowish foot and the 39 fit but the side of the right shoe dug into my ankle bone. My other problem was that they were not leather as I expected. I must have missed something.

These are wonderfully comfortable shoes. My only issue is cleaning. They do become dirty and efforts to clean removes the dye. Nevertheless I would LOVE another pair, if they were available in my size.

Runs super small! I am a consistent size 10. I tried this bootie in both a 41 and a 42. The 41s were way too small--my toes were crunched against the ends and there wasn't enough width for even a thin sock. The 42s barely fit, and I worried they would rub, especially since there wasn't much sock room in them, either. I have an identical older pair that fits well in the 42 (even though according to all the Ecco size charts, a 41 should fit). These are the only Ecco shoes I've tried; not sure if they always run small or just this model. The nubuck was also cheap looking--not textured or sueded like the photo and much worse than the older pair I have. The "Dark Shadow" color was also lighter and more blue in person. Sadly, these had to go back

They are cute! They are comfortable and padded but there is not a lot of support. I ordered a 7, my normal size. They are too big by either a half or whole size. I am returning them.

Having several pair of Ecco soft 7 leather sneakers I was anxious to have a comfortable pair of booties for winter. I tried them in my regular size 39 and while the fit was a little long, the width was fine however the comfort and arch support just didn’t work for me. I seriously felt there was little to no arch support, rather flat.. I ordered them in the black/black leather and black nubuck/white bottoms. Sadly, I had to return both. While the leather was soft enough as not to bother my bunions, the arch support wasn’t comfortable, they felt too flat and personally I didn’t care for the look or style. They looked like old lady, therapeutic shoes which I have been known to wear if they feel wonderful on my feet but this was a miss for me. Thanks to Zappos for bearing with me and my bad feet! Awesome company.

I was so excite to get these based on how they looked on screen and from all of the rave reviews. Well, I can definitely say I am not in agreement with those reviews. They are narrow (so not very comfortable) and they just looked cheap. To me, they looked like something that could have been purchased at a discount store for $29.99--certainly did not look like any other $173.00 pair of shoes I have bought in the past. Zappos still gets 5 stars for their fast shipping and easy return process--which I am happy about with this purchase for sure.

Looked cute, and just like the picture. Was pretty snug over my instep, difficult to get it zipped. The back heel box had a stiff seam that was rubbing right away. Not for me.

These are well made, lightweight, and look good. I'm returning for a half size larger because of my high instep

AMAZING!!Just what I;ve been looking for—I had hoped for sneaker comfort minus the sneaker look, and these are so much more than that! The grey is fun (I usually get black everything but this is a little different and nice with the white edge). They feel solid! But they still seem light. Really pleased. I’m gonna go check out more ECCO shoes…who knew (they are pricy, but hey—-for this kind of comfort and style?????).

I love these Booties. They are very comfortable from the get go, and look great too. A bit expensive so watch for a sale.
